OMG! Bro. KhoPhi, in fact I couldn’t hold my tears, after traveling with you from Accra to Koforidua. God bless you, and keep up the good work. Things are a little bit rough now, but I promise to do my part in future. You have no idea how I appreciate you. Thanks a million. Stay safe
As a South American living in the heart of the Andes I was really expecting "A CLIMB"! Nevertheless, that was a beautiful scenery, I'd love to stop by any of those roadside mini markets and find out what exotic fruits and veggies do you guys have. Beautiful work, thanks for sharing!
I watched this with fascination having made this exact same journey (as far as Tenkon) back in 2016. So many memories this brought back. The road out of Madina, the climb up through the Aburi hills, the sharp corners as our tro struggled to pull up the hill. The spectacular view to the right once on the top, the stop we made on the top to buy 8 bags of cement which slowed our tro even more! LOL, the left turn at the roundabout in Mamfe, the green lush scenery, the dips and bends in the road, then finally Tenkon junction, just as I remember it. I stayed in a village 3 miles to the right of Tenkon. So many memories. Then the final run into Koftown .... the police barrier. I even remember some of the buildings on the way. Great memories for me, great video, stay safe
Wonderful. Nice views. I used to ride my Suzuki gsx 1100 from Accra to Koftown. I know this road like the back of my hand. Several parts still look the same almost 15years since I left Ghana. I now ride a Suzuki rf 900 in the UK. Thanks for sharing. Very nostalgic feelings.
@@KhoPhi No l don’t anything about Telegram, but the main reason is l wanted to show you some Americans couple who has come to Ghana staying in James Town which they are going round in Ghana the area’s which is not good taking pictures and showing on RU-vid according to those who knows them they said they are working for some agent in the USA 🇺🇸 which have paid them to do that so nobody will come to Ghana, but will give you their RU-vid name to search for them because you are RU-vid on the ground in Ghana and Ghanaian people most of them don’t watch RU-vid so they don’t know what they are doing so you can let people know what they are on the doing and the reason why they are in Ghana especially people in James Town they are Trashing every thing in and it’s really painful for us to watch someone come to our country to that so l will send you their link okey thanks 🙏🏾
It'll be worth your purchase. Today, I used it to capture wedding footage and the quality and results is just insane. The possibilities with the Osmo is a lot.
I uploaded it this morning. But guess what, up till now, RU-vid hasn't finished processing. It took about 4 hours to render the completed video. Final upload file size was 28 Gig. RU-vid has been busy processing the video till now
Wooow thise is my route i us to enjoy thise road when i was in ghana i know every bit of thise road for me to enjoy thise road i use to visit koforidua without any purpose at least twice a week 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I just spent over an hour "on a motorbike" and enjoyed every minute of it. I just wish you had kept the natural sound. The music becomes a little repetitive after a while. Now I'm going for the return trip. :O)
Woww you're the bomb 💥. My brothers and sisters in the states check this out. A trip from Accra to Koforidua aka Koftown. Exhilarating bro. You've got the x- factor
I've added video chapters for now. It doesn't seem to show. Will double check and find out how to make it show. Until then, check the video description for all the timestamps
@@KhoPhi That would be awesome but I was just talking about just some verbiage to let people know some of the landmarks especially the names of the villages. Thanks for the great work you are doing. How can I donate for the cause?
As a biker myself, I am interested in knowing what kind of bike you were riding. Judging by your rate of acceleration, it's something powerful. I'm US based, but hope to ship a BMW 1250 Adventure to Ghana soon.
Pfff, mine is a 150hp apsonic bike. Nothing crazy. The cars are slow perhaps that's how you feel the bike is fast lol. 1250 is crazy. Looking forward to it. Saw a 1200 same BMW brand last week or so in Accra.
Replying to your Police barrier query, yes they are necessary. In the early 2000s you'll wake up with news of robberies and car chases along the accident hotspot to Okorase stretch. Now you literally don't get to hear of them so I always go out of my way to appreciate their presence now
True. I think it was necessary at the time because of the little to no amount of cars that used the road. In general, robbery happens on roads where traffic is very minimal, thus time between cars passing is stretched enough that a complete robbery can happen in 30 mins to 1 hour before another car comes passing. Today, the Aburi Koforidua stretch is so so busy. Pulling robbery on it, on the basis that no car will come meet the robbers is close to impossible. Personally I don't mind the police presence though
So my suggestion is when you go to a town..if you can just stop and talk to people and I think that will bring some kinda happiness to your watchers and subscribers overseas
Maybe I'm missing something. How does me on a journey from Accra to Koforidua, stopping at each town, and talking to random people I don't know, bring some kinda happiness to the viewers overseas? Why would viewers wanna see me do that? And how long will the video end up being then? 3? 5 hours? When I'm riding I give it 100%, and goal is to get from point A to B safely as possible. I'm not gonna worry my concentration by interviewing strangers at each town
@@KhoPhi not every little town...but in koforidua or any big town ...that is the focus of your journey...questions about where to get decent food ,the oldest chop bar and so on...
I forwarded your koforidua video to my uncle who saw some places he know about 30yrs ago before he left Ghana and surprisingly its was still the same and he was asking where is the development
This bike is a 150 horsepower. This new bike, the farthest it's gone is koforidua so far. But the previous bike went to Bolgatanga through Bimbila, Tamale, then to Wa, then back through Techiman to Kumasi to Koforidua.
Are there plans to dualize the entire length of road from Accra to Kumasi? Any explanation why we still have single lanes in greater part of the road? It's been over 40 years since construction on this road began. Aaaya Oman Ghana. Over 200,000 people have died on this road since 1980.
