Fuel is not a problem, there are plenty of gasstations. Although, 98 oct is not always availlable. Ride safe and have fun!

I'll be riding there in two weeks. Are most of the roads better than this? How have been the temps and weather more generally?

The roadsurface are mostly fine, but narrow. Plenty of traffic, mobile homes etcetera, cattle and horses on the road. And plenty of cyclist hurtling down the mountain. Not a place to drive sportly.
