I worked for Kawasaki back in the early eighties . They always wait patiently while other manufacturers make their attempts at being top dog . Then build a bike that comes screaming straight out of hell and kicks everyone's ass !

I watched this with my own eyes & listened with my ear plugged ears. The bike shook the stand! I could feel it rumbling in my chest cavity. The supercharger sucks in so much air, by the time the engine was turned off the hot air around us all was gone & I was cold! Kawasaki have broken the mold - They have dared to be different and have succeded spectacularly. If you don't like it don't buy it, dont moan about it and go and find something else to complain about. I love sports bikes and have owned many over the years, the yearly mods that manufacturers generally make are mainly cosmetic with more electrical technology and gizmos added to draw us in and renew our interest. This bike, and more importantly the H2 Street, have given us something completely new - a radical new look, an incredible engine and a massive sense of anticipation. This is what the litre class sports bike market has needed - to wake it up and encourage other manufactures to be more 'creative'. Can't wait to see what the others come back with?

I doubt the 0-60 time on this is much different from your modern 600 or a 1000, but I would like to think that its 60-200 will make a Veyron look like a mobility scooter (this also applies to the road going version)

If you can make all that hp stick on a road track then that would be awesome to see. It'll be hard to hate this bike because it seems to be setting a new bar for sportbikes. Please remember "For every 15 hours of running over 8,000rpm, the engine needs to be inspected. For every 30 hours, an engine bottom-end overhaul is needed." That is $3k+ worth of maintenance every 30 hours.

A nice clean blue flame coming out of the tailpipe is cool. Specks of molten metal like you see in that video is something letting go and coming out the end of the exhaust. Whether it be in the walls of the exhaust or within the motor itself. Usually not a sign of a healthy motor.
