Great video...My Dad got me started in building models and i have not stopped. Building models for over 45 year's. I build everything from wooden ship models, cars, tanks, planes, animals, and motorcycles. Just got this model It's next in line to build.

That is great that your Dad got you started and it became a life long passion. Also cool that you build such a wide range of model types. Each type has different challenges I am finding out. Enjoy the RC166 build, I thought it was really fun and was my first motorcycle.

In answer to your message what got you started in modelling well back in 1966 I was given a Ferrari 250 Airfix kit and the bug started as I have been modelling ever since without a break and really enjoy super detailing etc I also have many friends all over the world into model cars and bikes, Which is why I watched your video as I have not yet gotten around to building the RC166 but often look at the kit thanks for sharing your great work on the engine and have to say the photoetch is better

That is incredible you have been scale modeling this whole time and still love it. That is a testament to how wonderful this hobby is and your passion for it. I found this RC166 kit at an entire kit collection sale, and I was immediately hooked by the looks of the RC166. When I got home and opened the box the gentleman had 5 upgrade kits inside. I was so excited, and intimidated, at the same time. It ended up being a lot of fun and a good learning experience. Thanks for watching and hope to see your RC166 in the future. Blessings, -Scott

@@scalemodelpursuit Hi Scott I watched all your videos on the RC166 and decided to buy the kit however it's difficult to find any of the detail sets nowadays but as I said I enjoy super detailing and have lots of stuff I can use so thank you for sharing Best wishes Steve
