great vid! I like this type of "actual rider viewpoint". And,, yeah, should be tested for long term.

I put a lowering kit (longer rear suspension links) on my 2012 Super Tenere. It was fine once you got on the bike, but when I needed to put my feet down (at stoplights) I was on my tiptoes even with the seat in the lowest position (short-legs, long torso). I had to adjust the position of the front forks to level the bike after installing the lowering kit too. The rear and front suspension are easily adjustable for stiffness (front and rear) and compression and rebound damping (front) which is really nice when you are touring with a passenger, or want a softer "off-road" setup.

I have the KLR 650 and like it. Having said that, the single cylinder 650 is quite buzzy at higher road speeds. I do like the KLR's off road capabilities. I'm looking to upgrade at some point to a twin with more dirt orientation. Thought about the KTM Adventure..... but this looks like it may be a contender as well. Would love to see the venerable comparison between the BMW, KTM and the Yamaha, the bike with more letters than pedigree in this class. Price point seems a bit high though....

I have to agree in liking the rider perspective rather than just typical catch-phrase market hype, since this is what I want to know to buy, -but holy crap the fast techno music to ultra ultra boring riding really contrasts. It makes watching paint dry look exciting
