Almost the entire way I wondered why the roads were so slippery 😁, halfway through I saw why. Every year, in the early fall, Swiss alpine villages come alive with a charming tradition. Herds of cows, adorned with colorful hats and jingling cowbells, parade through the streets. This festive procession marks the end of the cattle's summer grazing in the high alpine pastures. A custom passed down through generations, this tradition is a part of Swiss culture.
