This was a day out I had booked for both Slim Girl and myself to visit Sherwood Pines near Nottingham to participate in their Go Ape adventure park doing the Tree Top Challenge.
I don't really know what I was thinking as I do suffer from heights and had forgot I had a fear of them.
This the story of what happened when we tried to actually do it and gives you a good insight into what you will be taking on if you decide to have a go yourself.
You do have full training showing how to tackle it and are shown in depth how to stay connected at all times with your harness and the safety wires you attach them to.
You take on swings, rope ladders and cargo nets as you battle your way around the course.
It was a hair raising experience and I hope you enjoy the journeys over many of the crossings we had to take on.
The zip wires are brilliant and give you a right adrenaline rush which is worth going for alone.
Oh and watch out at the end why I won't be employing Slim girl as the film director for any of my future video's LOL.
