@@Ernation642not at all. Public roads are super unpredictable, the bumps can be super sketchy in turns if you didn’t know they’d be there, stuff like that
@@hashslingingslabber859 Have you ever ridden a motorcycle at high speeds? I have and I get that people are unpredictable but on the roads that they were driving on the bike is just smaller and way easier to maneuver
@@Ernation642 … I own a 2022 gxsr1000r. Vids on my channel lmfao. I ride with 16 other guys. I’m familiar with riding fast and driving fast, I also have a c6 corvette. It’s just what you said doesn’t make any sense - just because a bike *is* easier to maneuver on a road than a car, doesn’t mean it doesn’t take bigger balls to ride like that vs drive like that.
I've noticed your driving has become slower and more cautious compared to a few months ago, but it has also become way smoother. It's almost like the car is floating through traffic instead of fighting it and it's mesmorizing to watch. This is what peak swimming looks like.

When I bought my G, I was being stupid. I've humbled myself alot since then. It ain't worth it doing stupid cuts and driving stupid fast. The adrenaline ain't worth it
@@Lyght0ut Swimming has variable difficulty. You drive/ride at you and your vehicle's capabilities. Just like that meme, the amount you fuck around directly correlates to the risk you find out.
@@msardella8057 then you are not pushing hard enough, its all on how hard you push. One blown engine later and i honestly dont know how ive made it out without an accident. Ive done some down right insane cuts that i dont think i can do consistently without crashing. Luck, skill whatever you want to say it was fucking hard lol.
swimming on a motorcycle is begging to go meet your maker, cars straight up don't see you in their rear view mirror, especially in NY, they just change lanes once without signalling and BOOM, you're gone...
Thats very true which is why if you ever do even ride a motorcycle, not recklessly even, you should be riding as if no one can see you. You ride just out of line of traffic and maintain the leaders speed while you focus on covering brakes. which is exactly what this rider did and unless he has messed up brake wires, the guy didn't touch his brakes once while following the lead car. you try to always give yourself as many options to avoiding anything that you can. If the lead car stopped suddenly than the rider could either brake or pick a flank and accelerate. dude was giving it no throttle
@@aspen471 I've ridden my fair share on two wheels and I know for a fact, car drivers do not see motorcycle riders the same way they see other cars on the road. that's why you always hear, "I didn't see you!" or "you just came out of nowhere!" whenever someone hits a motorcyclist.
You guys ever ride? I used to be a swimmer well but for the last 4 years I’ve been having a lot more fun on my bike. Especially here in nyc the ability to ALWAYS get through traffic essentially ruined driving a car for me
It's way easier on a bike. I've been doing it 22 years just gliding through traffic real smooth. No janky swerves or anything required. Hug the left lane and stay near the line and just make quick light jukes right and left to go through gaps. Occasionally do a full split. Don't even need to be goin 120+ just a casual 80-100 steady pace.
Much respect to these guys, but I'll say again. "I WAS ONE OF NYC's PRE-GENERATION SWIMMERS"... before the cameras... We used to tear up that Jackie/interboro. Had some solid homies round those parts too.
Car in front couldn't even take the left curve more than 100mph, proves that this type of driving is all balls zero skill. Guy was braking while turning and looked like he was about to flip lmao.
