Man, I took a while to hear from you again but it was worth the wait. I’m proud to hear you have been treated well by my people in Mexico stay safe, can wait for the next one 🤙🏻
Jesus I responded to your other comment from a while ago too! The people of Mexico are amazing! I feel super lucky I get to take this trip and also I feel almost a responsibility and desire to showcase this country for what it truly is! Give back some of the respect it deserves that the media has robbed from it. I understand it can be dangerous, but Mexico as a whole is amazing and vey small percentage of people are giving it a bad name. I hope these videos showcase the true picture of the people here!
My friend thanks for the concern and love! yeah I had some issues where my external hard drive was destroyed down here in Mexico and just got my data recovered so should start getting the videos out again more regularly! I was thinking the same thing. I was like I bet people think Im dead hahaha since I haven't posted. If you have instagram I'm more active on there on like a weekly basis.
Elise thank you! Thats really fun to hear honestly! Its really comforting and encouraging to think that you guys would sit down together and watch these! Thanks!
Hey Landon, I am the guy that met you in San Juanico and showed you the fuel. I had no idea you had all those problems right after I saw you. I was going to offer you a place to stay, but it seemed like you were in a hurry to move on. I wish I had shown you where we live
Pete my man I didn't even think of that! that would have been really fun to crash with you! I was lucky I was really close to the hotel I stayed at. Overall it wasn't an issue at all with the bike. It just got wet and dried up by the morning and started right up
Im sorry my friend haha Had some issues where my external hard drive was destroyed down here in Mexico and just got my data recovered so should start getting the videos out again more regularly! Thanks for the support man! Also if you like it that much I don't know if you have instagram, but I do post on there as well more regularly and its just a little different the kind of content there. There's a link in my RU-vid profile
Man I’m glad you’re still out there!! I really hope your channel blows up because it honestly deserves to. Never realized how bad I needed a dirt bike before watching your videos. You doing these trips solo is what really makes it special I think. Keep it up and I bet you’ll be full time RU-vidr in no time!
Wow what a compliemnt my friend! Thank you I mean if you want to help me with that you could share it to some people or on social media haha Where do you live roughly? Dirt bikes are honestly so amazing haha its a beautiful kind of freedom you feel on them. Full time would be fun! I gotta upload videos a little more consistently before anything even close to that can happen I think haha
Nice job Landon! Good to see that you got your hard drive issues sorted out. I liked the fact that you included the journey back to your bike in the video. It shows the difficulty of the journey as a whole and the many obstacles that must be overcome along the way. Ride safe and keep having fun we are all with you...
Bill I think you are one of my number one supporters my friend! I feel happy to see your comments on here! Im glad you liked the hitch hiking part, I really enjoyed it! Cheers Bill!
Arthur thanks a ton my friend! Had some issues where my external hard drive was destroyed down here in Mexico and I just got my data recovered so should start getting the videos out again more regularly! Thanks for the support man!
It’s really cool of Isaac to help you store the bike… That’s a big deal, but I hope you stay farther away from the shoreline of the rivers, you’re very brave, but I want to see some more Content man.
yeah Julian Israel was amazing! I put his name on a list of people that have just gone above and beyond for me.. If one day I'm fortunate enough to earn a good amount of money from this channel I want to go back to his home and gift him something huge! just randomly show up and give him like a huge amount of cash our something! If the world was filled with more people like him it would look a lot different! Wish I could have showed you guys him too. Yeahhh the mud forsure snuck up on me haha.. I knew it was a touchy spot thats why I wasn't going fast but I guess they call them accidents for a reason haha
Dude, I just discovered your channel..amazing! Your production quality is excellent! I don’t doubt your channel will explode. Totally understand the logistics in editing and uploading. Also huge respect for your minimalistic approach in terms of your kit….less is more! Totally living vicariously through you. Mexico is absolutely beautiful and has so much to offer. My wife and a home in Puerto Vallarta….looking forward to exploring more of it. Ride safe!
Nick my friend what an amazing compliment! That's really kind of you to take the time and share with me! yeah the goal is to just try and make videos I would want to watch. And a house in Puerto Vallarta that's really awesome Nick! Part of this journey is I would like to look for a place to live maybe at least half the year and Puerto Vallarta is defiantly on the radar. Again thanks for the input Nick. Uploaded a new one today for ya. If they get to boring let me know brotha! Cheers
Another great one. Had been wondering when one was coming. Great videos showing the fun times and some of the challenges. Plus including the locals is a great. Have fun and safe travels.
Thanks Sean! Had some issues where my external hard drive was destroyed down here in Mexico and I just got my data recovered so should start getting the videos out again more regularly! Yeah I'm trying my best to keep it raw and real even if it is embarrassing haha the mud was defiantly something I was aware of riding along that river, but I guess thats what happens when you play with fire right. Overall no regrets it's all just learning for me. As long as I'm not careless with my life its all good learning for all of us. The locals are my favorite part man! People are just so amazing down here!
Duncan thank you so much my friend! I think I just genuinely have a huge amount of curiosity, and I also really like people so that combined it just causes me to talk to people a lot. Also it helps that Mexico is just filled with great people! Thanks for the input also Duncan, the channel is so new its hard to know what people enjoy without them actually just telling me like you have! Sometimes I wonder if people would think it's boring the dialogue, and maybe they just want to see the bike. Again thanks Duncan Cheers!
@@LandonBishoff Keep it up! I know sometimes you may feel like you are talking to yourself, but the content, places, experiences are interesting to me! I'm flying down to Baja on 2/11 to do some whale watching on the Pacific and Sea of Cortez side! Looking forward to that! I live on the East Coast of the US, so it is a stretch to ride my bike (BMW R1200GS) down to BCS. be safe!
Duncan once again thank you! Yeah the whole talking to yourself is forsure a real thing. The one I struggle with the most is just im not here to place myself or claim to be a point of authority on any of this. So I hope people can understand that I don't have everything all figured out and im just learning and sharing what I can. RU-vid has been a huge resource for me and I feel like this is a way the cycle can go full circle for me.
Hey Landon, thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I had a super trip to Baja. Spent a couple of days on the Pacific side whale watching, and it lots of other fun stuff in la Paz and Los Barriles. I took a bunch of video, and as I’m sure you know, producing it is the tedious part of this RU-vid thing. Working on those now, and hope to have my next one out in a day or two. Stay safe! I can only assume you were headed down to Le Paz and will make the crossing by ferry over to Mazatlan?
@@oic1968 Ohhh I was confused because that was in a different video than this one. Yeah that was private charter. My brothers girlfriends family set that up, and I was just lucky enough to be in the right place right time to get invited, I didn't even know they were in Mexico until I saw my brother post a picture on his instagram.
I legit love your videos. They are the definition of an epic adventure. Glad you got your hard drive recovered. Hope your bike starts after that wash. Let us know what failed on the bike? I have the same bike so I’m curious.
Eric we meet again my friend! Thanks for all your comments and support! So as much as I tried to research it as far as I can tell dirt bikes and motorcycles in general can be a little sensitive to water in some of the connections especially near the top end with the spark plug and other more sensitive stuff. I let the bike dry over night and it started right up. That was like 2 months ago, not to give you a spoiler alert, but I haven't had any problems like that since.
Hey Landon, what tires are you running? I currently use the GoldenTyre for front and rear. Are the tires you use easy to change? The goldentyres have a great speed rating but have stiff sidewalls
Hey Tim! Im currently running the Dunlop D606 front and rear. Ive b been running those on my BDR rides as well and to be honest I don't see myself switching anytime soon. And I don't have any experience with Golden tyre, so im not sure what would be considered hard or not, but I would say they are pretty normal to change out. My tire irons aren't super crazy long and I feel like its fine.
Dang! leaving us on a cliffhanger. I hope its not a month before I see what happens. My guess is a wiring issue. Maybe the plug at the ignition switch since its not weather sealed. Or a fuel pump, those seem to fail on ktm's. Hope its a easy fix.
I didn't intentionally leave it on cliff hanger, its just the video was already 39min long hahah and this is the kindest most respectful burn about having to wait a month to find out😂 I give you my word it will not be a month before I update you on what happens haha I had some issues where my external hard drive was destroyed down here in Mexico and I just got my data recovered so thats why it took forever to get the videos back up. I actually flew to the states to take the hard drive in, and also flew back to pick it up. As for the bike issue do you want me to tell you what happened or do you want to wait?
😬😬😬 Shoot I'm sorry my friend! Yeah I will defiantly try better to keep the audio quality better. And yeah good point if its just so washed out maybe just put a script below. Thanks
Im out of it now since the video isn't exactly a live location of where I am... But I was in San Juanico. Little spoiler for ya the bike started up the next morning when It was dry and haven't had any problems with it since.
