I'm completely amazed by the level of your sense of adventure. You brought back my beautiful memories when I was assigned a job as a teacher of English in Tata. I nearly resigned the first time I set foot there one a scorchy evening . The people there are really 👍.
I tried watching one video, and I found myself connected to a wonderful series of episodes, a professional work of photography and music, with the pleasure of the journey as if we were traveling with you. Thanks for sharing the wonderful adventure with us.
Great video and great content as well. I really like the 3rd person shots that Glen and Anis are able to get of you and Lavi on the bike together. So cool !!! Glad you were able to get out of the heat for a night at the hotel. Loved how the camels just slowly move about. You two stay safe and the same goes for Glen & Anis as well !!!! 😊
Thanks Mike 😁🙏 Yes that was awesome that we had our own personal film crew for a couple days! 🤪 Some days you just need a bit of air conditioning! The camels are very chilled they rally don't seem to mind the heat or anything at all!
Whether it’s short or long days, your videos are always awesome!! And I’ve notice d on the Map how far south of Morocco you’re in already, well done Lavi & Ollie, lezzzz gooo!! ❤️🏍
By the end of the trip you'll be standing up on the pegs and blasting through that sand Ollie! You were so lucky to have the support vehicle there during such intense heat. Such a crazy landscape out there. How people live in such an arid environment is beyond me. Glad you had air-con for the night! How luxurious!
Yes I hope so! I think soon we will dedicate some days to off road practising to push up the skills a bit more! It's a beautiful landscape but yes very hot and dry and almost unlivable this time of year!
@@LaviandOllie One of the best things I did for my riding confidence was taking an off road riding course. It even helped my road riding too. But being on such a big trip and riding almost every day will also give you great skills. No doubt you've already noticed a big improvement. 👍
Oh yes we had some crazy hot days 🫣 it was a beautiful scenery but the heat was a struggle 😅 thank you so much for watching and see you in the next one 🙏
You are most welcome 😁🙏 Yes that's a little too crazy even for us, I hope it won't be like that all the way down the coast! Don't worry we will keep smiling, it's all part of the adventure
Hi guys! 30° to 40° in Tata , it's ok , you're still alive 😰🤢🤒 Don't forget to visit Mirleft and Gzira on the atlantic coast after this heat , if you want to see sea cliffs. Epic views . Stay hydrated ! Bonne route !😉
I really love your videos , keep going guys , I also noticed that your map isn't complete , the sahara is also part of Morocco and there is a lot of beautiful cities like laayoune and dakhla
Another great video!! When and if you come to U.S. you should plan on riding through Death Valley. Death Valley holds the record for the highest recorded air temperature on earth. On July 10, 1913, temperatures at Furnace Creek which is located in Death Valley reached 134.1°F. The average summer temperatures, are quite often above 113°F.
You two manage to find some amazing places to camp. So quickly onto day 63 of your amazing adventure...👏👏And yet....in the searing morning heat you, Olli, were prepared to leave Lavi and make her walk a kilometer - good job Gentleman Glen and his partner Anis were there😄😄Good to hear you are taking on fluids and keeping your t-shirts wet and cool...You know, the vast rocky, sandy God-foresaken land you travelled through today reminded me of the beach when I lived in Skegness...apart from the heat that is...I believe it did reach 40 degrees one summers day but that was in Farenheit😜🤪 "The first thing we will do when we get there is throw our clothes off and jump in the pool"....thanks for the warning about the X-rated video's coming up!!! Phew, you did not have time for the video...Your RU-vid channel is safe...Enjoy the air conditioning and, as ever, stay together, stay safe...
Trying to travel on a budget means we have to find as many camping spots as possible, sometimes we're lucky with nice places 😁 Hahaa yes that sand would have been too much for the two of us so sorry Lavi! 🤣 Haha is Skegness really like that? Gotta see that when we get back! Yes sorry all the cameras were dead by then! Lucky for everyone! Thanks so much for watching!
Good move keep the days ride to the morning when it's so hot. Nice room for the price and you did get you dip in a pool for the price of a drink that was a win. Hope the aircon last the night being on full blast.
Yes we had to do that but to be honest it was already in the high 30s by like 9-10 so it didn't make much of a difference! 🤪 The pool was amazing we really needed that! The air con was on but to be honest it couldn't hold back the relentless heat of the night!
Heading south you have to change your riding strategy.. Early morning up to midday, a little nap somewhere shady and start late afternoon to sunset, the N1 south runs along the Atlantic acean, you will have some breeze,,,, take care and good luck
First of all welcome to Morocco. I just want to tell you the map that you are carrying with you It is not a complete map of Morocco. Half of the map is not available Welcome again, and I advise you to visit Dakhla in the Moroccan desert
I'm originally from Morocco, but I moved to the USA 11 years ago. I used ride my bicycle on the north closer to ceuta Spain. But I never went to the atlas mountains or to the desert.
Fair doos to you all, I really couldn't handle tha heat... 🥵🥵 Good video & excellent music to accompany the terrain, enjoy your break & take it easy... 🐝
We nearly couldn’t handle it! We’re glad that we did it but really wouldn’t do it again 😅🤣 thanks so much for watching and see you in the next video 🙏❤️
A geo correction: Where you are pointing to on the map is not the bottom of Morocco. The border with Mauritania is more than 1500 KM away to the South. You are showing only one half of the map!!!!!!!!!! The Algerian Border is to the East of the country. Cheers,
Guy's I think having a short day after a rubbish night's sleep on top of a gruelling day was a very good idea, 40c Jesus that's another level of heat so congrats on the AC
Wow 40 degs that's hot I gotta ask do you guys get a issues with critter/bugs in the tent whilst camping ? such awesome baron areas and not a white van in site 😆cheers guys awesome cheers 👍
Yes 40! A little too much when wearing full gear 🤪 No not at all we always keep it zipped up so nothing can get inside! We learnt from that the hard way when we were living in Australia! Yes at the moment there really aren't so many other travellers around, I think it gets much busier in October, we're the only ones crazy enough to be venturing around in the middle of summer! Thanks for watching 😁🙏
Yes, camels are generally good natured, but they sometimes get the hump! I know you guys love cheese, I hope you don't mind cheesy jokes like that one! 😜 👍
Teta in Spanish means breast haha. Well it sounded like that! Yeah Aircon or pool a must I think especially if you riding. I know budget is tight but physical health and sanity important! 30c here in Uk. Scorchio☀️ P.s Ahhh its Tata.
@@LaviandOllie oh so my first 4hr ride and its going to be 33c. Trust me. (Next week. No sign of chin mount argh might have to get emergency one if not here by thrs. Leaves me no time to see if mic works...argh. Guess could get on bicycle and test by holding in hand and riding one handed😜.
It is funny how 99% of the people set the aircon or sauna too low or too high as a way to get it to be cooler or hotter quicker. It is as fast if you set it to 23 degrees. If it would reach 18 degrees you would freeze and probably get a cold.
@@LaviandOllie Yeah, I can see why you pushed the aircon hard 😅 Actually I found you from Marcs channel. I love that you said you could consider an electric bike. I look forward to seeing it. Im also a fan of Charles Borman and Ewan McGregors trips around the world. 😀
Hi guys. Well done. What app did you use to find your accommodation, I unfortunately could not hear clearly. Yah Africa is not for sissies, and you are doing really well. 💪
In your mind, perhaps you should reconsider your conception of hell. Indeed, a moroccan nuances by using differently several words such as: ▪︎"Jahannam" : because of its blazing fire and the depth of its abyss. ▪︎"Sa'ir ; because of its fiery flames. ▪︎"Saqar"; because of the intensity of its heat. ▪︎"Tata" ; only with 40° or 45° is far behind at the bottom of a long list. 😜😜
John Smith, Have you been following these guys from the start? If so you would know that for most of the journey Lavi and Ollie are riding alone. These folks are friends of theirs who have joined them for a few days. They told you that in the video! Pay attention!
