Really coming together , I know I complain about the weather here in Canada but it must be tough working in +100 degree weather especially when you are not feeling well. And yes the universe is weird
@@MrGonein60 just finalizing the colour combination. we are going pepper grey for main but trying to decide on stripe colour. We are thinking dark grey instead of traditional black. I am going to spray out a couple of test panels first
@@MrGonein60 yes. that is the one. When I saw the "S" code in your video I wanted to reach out and grab the car as that was exactly the one I had when I was 18 years old but boy she looks rough.
Do they have a diagram showing where to put all the brackets, the weather is going to be better this week I'll be posting pictures on your Eleanor mustang club, and the Mustang Shelby is looking awesome
Have you ever used old windlace to hold new headliner to the windshield seam and rear glass seam, for installation. Works fantastic. Obviously it must be removed to install glass, but works great as a tool.
@roberthirshfield3571 I've done it that way also. It was over 100 degrees outside. Adhesive dried super fast so I didn't have to use my windlace pieces. I do use that trick in the winter.
Would you sell the roof assembly off of the S code and do you have all the interior parts to make it right? Considering doing my coupe. It’s a nice C code coupe. Thanks
@@MrGonein60 just curious what it would cost for you to convert mine in labor. I am in the collision repair business but can’t seem to find the time to do my own.
Out of curiosity, what would be a guesstimate on how much to fix the S code Fastback? Love the content bud, you have helped me take my first step. Wanting to build a Fastback, my dream is to build a 65-66 GT 350r clone. Looking forward to see this build painted and rolling!!
That's one I wish I could have you save. I kick myself for not buying an S code years and years ago. Beautiful black 390 car, 4 speed, NICE condition for around $8,000. Granted that was 30 years ago, 16 year old me passed on it.
@mikeyhefner3877 oh yea. Now a rough complete s code fetches 35-50k. Mines parted out and super rough. It's here though. I may try and bring her back to life. I've built much worse.
@@MrGonein60 wait.. DP-40 is black.. correct!?!? If not.. whatever PPG DP # is black.. it a lot cheaper (and more durable) than flattening agent for black
@Crafttime316 I use the duraglass to bond on the fiberglass bodykit. The panel bond adhesive does not hold well. I've seen fender flares and rocker panels pop loose to many times. With duraglass the bodykit will not pop loose. If it does it's because the car was involved in a accident lol
