Thank you for showing us the vans Bob and a detailed video the quality and finish of the European vans seems to be much higher love the cabinet making and the Carthago in particular seem very luxurious looking forward to the next video hope you are both well
Oooh Bob love that carthago, look really nice on your driveway 😅, i think in time a carthago will be our next big investment, thanjs for another great vid x
Hi Bob great vlog as ever & thank you for taking the time for a photo with me! Really appreciated x I liked the Malibu & I bumped into a lovely couple who had 1 who said the customer service was exceptional. I think we are on the verge of seeing some innovation & new ideas entering the world of motor homes / campers which would be great. Rachel & David
The European motorhomes are so much more stylish than the UK manufacturers. I know one pays a premium for them but it has to be worth it ! Great tours as always . Thanks Bob
My favourite was the award winner for drop down bed👏👍 I wonder which make of van has the best ‘finishes’ eg, roof window seals , anti leak seals around the windows? What type of shower tray/floor is best? I’d imagine the driver chair /passenger chair need to be super comfortable too. Bob, you don’t have to answer these questions- I’m not buying one! Thank you❤️👏
Really enjoying these. We don’t have a motor home but my parents had touring caravans when I was single. I have a degree in interior design and I love to see the way the Motohomes etc are designed. It’s my 60th birthday today and we went out for a lovely meal and now your videos are the highlight of my day🍰🧁🎂
The ‘2 room’ concept on the Malibu 640 does NOT refer to the pop up sleeping area. It refers to the way the bathroom door can be used to separate the cabin from the bedroom area. I was told by the Malibu representative on the stand that currently an oven is not an option on the 640. But they are looking into it.
We have just left Somers Wood and saw your van/car pitched up. The urge to knock on the door of the King and Queen of motor-homing, to say ‘hello’ was quite hard to resist, but we felt all royalty need privacy and quiet time 🤣 Hope to see you another time at another show .
A big thumbs up 👍 from me for the Rapido 606F, it looks really good, nice spacious forward lounge with a drop down bed above. More than adequate galley kitchen and the mammoth washroom with loads of storage and if that wasn't enough a decent size garage too. Presumably there is an oven upgrade for the UK market?
We were there yesterday (wed) Bob, decided never again, dropped off at the wrong entrance ( our fault for getting on the wrong bus). The told the wrong pick-up point for the bus back to the car park, the queued for 30 minutes to get out of the car park because some people at other events didn’t get free parking and had to pay on the way out.
Enjoy your videos from Birmingham c/mh show but have noticed youtubers sound surprised when they say reversing camera. Surely all m/homes/camper vans should have a reversing camera fitted by law. What do you think.
We shouldn't be surprised, and most do come with reversing camera these days. It should be the law, and it should include a rear view when driving too.
Hi Bob as alway great blogs I am staying in Somers wood from the 2nd of November please could you tell me is there a chip shop nr and where would there be a supermarket? Sorry to bother you Best wishes Jacko
Yes there's a chip shop in Meriden about 1.5 miles away, and a Co-op and a Budgens and a Sainsbury at Balsall Common, about 4 miles away. There's lot of stores in Coventry too, 5 miles away.
