Good vid and great tips especially with electric hook-up cables and reverse polarity - Nice one! We will be heading out to Spaim in 2 weeks. Re Phone Data, we will only need data mostly for Google maps/Sat Nav and the odd bit of watching RU-vid channels as a sort of tour guide for places we want to visit. What's your thoughts re sim cards? Would you advise getting a spannish one with data or is it just easier buying roaming data from Vodafone?

Why have you made such an issue out of data. When I travel I use the internet daily yet have never approached 10GB. Does anybody really need that amount of data while on holiday. I really can’t believe what you’re saying about shopping in French supermarkets, it’s perfectly possible to shop without paying high prices. It makes me wonder what you were buying. Brexit has put prices for British visitors up because the exchange rate has remained far below where it was but prices in Britain have shot up recently for other reasons. Food appears cheap in Spain but that’s partly to do with their taxation system. Spanish people pay higher taxes that Britons because they don’t have a £12,000 tax allowance system and their tax bands are narrower. They have less disposable income and shop prices reflect that.
