One of the first things I remember about motorhomes was an interview with Billy Connolly (30 years ago?)talking about having rented one to take his family to the North of Scotland. They saw magnificent scenery, eagles, salmon spawning. At the end of the holiday he asked his children what they liked about the holiday. They said the motorhome had a good television. So, motorhome for the Connolly family there! If I was full time or spending weeks in one place I’d probably want a TV but for my use a Netflix film downloaded onto my iPad for rainy evenings is fine.
Perfect for dog owners and muddy rainy days when you can enter through the “tradesman” door on a rugged floor and have quick access to the shower. A drain straight through the floor and out would be perfect.
When mentioning head height it would be useful to say how tall you are, so we can get a perspective. If you’re 6 foot 5 then the headroom under the bed is fantastic, if you’re 4 foot 9 then there’s not a lot of room under the bed,
We had a good look around this model when we were at the dealership having our habitation checks been done. We didn't like it all, firstly it's on a Ford chassis cab which is very low inside & easy to bang one's head & the interior fittings, cupboards and shelves etc are very mfi/IKEA like.
I always thought the 660 was weird, I'm a chausson dealer and tbf they sell but only once the 640 is sold out, buuuut I did a video on a nearly new one we have recently and now I get it, yeah its different but its so modern yet comfy inside , a bit IKEA of decor and it kind of makes the 640 which is awesome and our best seller seem a bit dated in comparison. However , this is motorhomes and its probably too niche sadly so I'd give it another year and I bet they drop it.
