Hey kevin. I just got my new wildcat pk80 put together and it will only run on choke🤷‍♂️ it has a g2 reed valve and a cdh67 jog pipe. It was ported by california motorbikes. Its running on an arbeo spanish delorto 15/15 clone carb. I've tried a few jets up and down betweenthe 69 and 62 range. It has no air leaks, i checked verry well. Idk if u needed all that info to know if its rich or lean lol in my mind it seems rich bit isnt only running o choke a symptom of lean condition? Well i went back and started from an 80 jet and worked my way down and it still wont idle, it doesnt throttle down smoothly either and wants to hang at higher rpms like its lean but surely it doesnt need a jet above 80🤷‍♂️

try a NT carb and start at #70 jet

@@KevinTodd good idea🤙 and luckily they use the same jets. Yea i was thinking if there is an air leak itd have to b at the carb. I'll try that tomorrow and let u know how it goes. Thanks for the advice.

@@bloodfungus3066 those carburetors are notorious for either running smoothly or needing tuned constantly. If it’s a SHA it should need adjusting for winter and summer one jet and if it’s a pghb or whatever you should really not need to do much if you get the needle to lean even if the jet is at 72•
