Using the flap disk to make the shape in the head was good idea, give you nice finish. Can’t say if it’s same profile as the piston but it def looks close in video. So close is better than flat. I like it symmetrical to run a tighter squish possible but still very cool idea.

Thanks yeah worked out very good. Got lucky the flap disk is almost exactly the same curve as the top of the piston approx 3mm dome. It was as close as I could get with what I have here. I may try to buy another one and use a lathe to machine it better. Fun experimenting though. I got injured before I could check the squish but will do that and add to an update video.

@@AQUATICSLIVE you have a lathe brother….. omg you are set my guy. I want a small table lathe or a small table mill I could do just about everything I need with either one of those small tools. You have a big leg up. Everything I do atm is either by hand tools or hand held power tools. Either way my hands can’t hold it as steady as a machine or tool can. I’m def jelly

@@JMB676 Jelly here too and all by hand at my house too, I do have a super old lathe from my grandpa just 500+ miles away, but hoping to bring some ideas I have with next time I can go there. I love the method we do though, do it all by hand at least until there is some success. Just the cost of getting some practice metal and bits for the lathe is more than a whole motor kit so that will have to wait. If I get something figured out though I will help others as much as I can.
