Dan, I'm looking forward to seeing what happens when a legit APX is programed by a pro. I have always appreciated all the time and effort you put into your videos. Keep up the good work
Thank ya! I've been after some for quite a while, but I just couldn't find ones that I trusted enough to pull triggers on. I added a lot of accessories, as I have been building up to carrying this line. I do have a large quantity of APX7000 housings in black, new in box as well :)
Those radios are nice..... wao.... I want to buy one that on the vhf frecuency goes from 136-178 Mhz or whatever frecuency.... on the UHF, don't mind. as long as it will cover LEO,FIRE, and all emergency channels digitally, fine with me.
Everything had to be beyond reproach for me to drop into this pool. There have been so many weird ones, I just had to wait....and pay, pay, pay. They are really nice radios. I still like the XE versions better, but opinions vary as to the look of them as opposed to these.
I am a bit too Joeseph, haha. I worked in the APX CPS and made leaps and bounds into channel announcement and all the programming aspects. I hated the CPS at first, but a fella gave me some tips and some confidence and when the real need came, everything we went over just fell into place. I think I am more comfortable with APX CPS than XTS. I don't think I'll ever unlock the TRUE FULL potential of these radios, but it is sure fun exploring that programming platform. The voice files are MASSIVE and VERY detailed and easy to integrate into the radio.
quick question I am wondering if the apx 6000 single band in UHF will be compatible with mototrbo radios? we are demoing some xpr7550s and they are very nice on a leased radio system, would we be able to step up to something like this or not?thanks
Hey Snarling, I have a question about xtl 2500 high powers. I got a huge auction surplus of alot of Motorola radios (been selling on Ebay-- I have seen you there also :) ) Do the XTLs need any special cables to test them?
Allen Wang your number was not saved on my mobile phone , it will be rejected because only input number is allowed to be received on my mobile phone , please send me your number thru email OK .....
Hey man I'm a texas VFD and looking for a radio to cover all my local PD and FD& VFD do you think you can give me a price with program radio shoulder mic?
Also with Chemical plants in the area also I will need to talk on the channels I have a ht1250 I would like to get somthing up to date but not to much of a hit on the price
If you need a multi-band radio, the APX is the only way to go. Harris and (I THINK) Kennwood and Thales makes multi-band units, but they are mega-expensive as well.
lol. I don't plan on ebaying these. I'll sell them direct after 60 days, but may keep two. Ebay takes too much money from me as it is ;) I'm not sure about price quite yet.
ohfatkitty I always hold inventory at least 30 days and 60 for these. I don't think many folks would respect me as a responsible seller if I pushed them out the door immediately. I'm fine with ebay and fees, but their policies are getting worse by the day. I give them as little as I can afford to ;)
ohfatkitty There's much more important things in life than these radios ;) If you're in active public safety and intend on REALLY using something like these, they would be worth it. You have to really have a need for one to lay down the cash these demand. Even in public safety, many agencies are just switching over to P25 digital. Lamborghini and gravel roads is the best way I know to put it.
