@@TwoWayDirect well I noticed the Walmart in mocksville using radios like this.walmart been known to use Murs I work for a store and all stores are using 154.600 and 154.570 but this one store has radios like in the video
I would rather buy some cheaper and much better radio like Midland GXT 1050 for $90... How much is this one? $150? Geez... P.S. I apologize for my ignorance. Those are UHF radios, not FRS.
The Motorola is more expensive because it is meant for business use. It has channels, frequencies and interference blockers so you could have many, many different radios without interfering. They also come with more advanced warranties.
Tom Clooney I think Motorola is more expensive because it is Motorola brand. please open midland GXT 1050 specification and read. It has 50 or more channels with CTCSS, Motorola operates on 4 channels..... Much more features are available in GXT 1050, than in this Motorola toy...
First off, the Midland operates on FRS and GMRS frequencies, not business band... The Motorola is also easily programmable, a feature that businesses need and the Midland does not offer. And not to mention bubble pack radios like the GXT 1050 are not built as well as true business radios. They are built to be cheap use a couple times a year thing or even toys.
