I brought it a month ago and Its not a great phone honestly. Yeah there is a lot of specs on paper but what is the use of them? why give wireless charging, it only makes sense if the charger port is destroyed or you already have a wireless charger at home, which is not likely. Also the processor is horrible, it is not able to perform with basic games and social media. The best part about the phone is display+camera+looks. Looks are a conversation starter for sure, feels premium and sturdy to hold. Display is bright and works well even in sunlight. The camera is really good, it captures colours perfectly and and also works like magic. The biggest con is the processor, the camera is so good but the processor is not able to handle the camera most of the times, it crashes a lot and takes a good amount of time to process the pictures. Although they come out really good. There are many random bugs and glitches that are not optimized yet. I would not suggest this phone for more than 28K. Edit: there are heating issues especially while charging, but day to day use it does not get too warm.
Samsung s23 minimum... Only samsung flagship phones are the best... Budget samsung phones comes with there own Exynos processor which doesn't ege well even s24 has Exynos in india.. Probably Nothing for a choice
Issues faced by me on Edge 50 pro in last 2 months of usage 1. OS & Moto Launcher takes up 4GB RAM causing phone to crash when you use other RAM intensive apps. 2. Camera closes on its own randomly 3. Battery usage management is ultra strict, causing accessibility apps to fail even after whitelisting 4. Randomly gets logged out of apps 5. For some reason, Swiggy app lags a lot on this phone. Rest of the apps work fine. 6. Screen scratches very quickly. Never had any of these issues with my previous phones.
For Me... met only camera problem it lags and sometimes it can't handle but if clicks well the picture quality is very very very satisfied becz of Phantom validated...... Other than that I got really satisfied for using moto edge 50 pro
I have been using this phone for the past two weeks and recommended it to two of my friends, who bought it in the first sale. This is the best-looking phone not just under 30K-I would say even iPhone users are surprised by its design and display. It has a best-in-class camera, but if you’re looking for a gaming phone, this isn’t for you. Not everyone is a gamer, so for day-to-day usage and media consumption, this phone is a better choice. Keep in mind, if you’re buying a gaming phone, you can’t expect this level of camera performance. I do have some concerns about the absence of an app lock, a dedicated gallery app, and an always-on display (AOD). Even basic features like scheduled power on/off are missing from this device. However, considering the price point, I’m satisfied with it. The pace of smartphone innovation has slowed in recent years, but this device has all the best features you’d expect in a premium smartphone. Go for it! 🎉
For reduce heating and battery drain problem on Motrola edge 50 1. Go to settings or App info turn off background process for uneccassary apps 2. Turn off storage sense 3. Put it to 120hz As of my obervation this mobile is heatingup only at inital stage because of mobile setup running in background After you adjusted the setting it came to normal. Dont complain there is no mobile exist which is not heatingup This is a good mobile
Im glad y'all have made a long term review of it. Been using this since a month and i gotta say this is really great in some aspects but very poor in others. As you've mentioned app lock is a feature i use all the time its missing, the camera app is ridiculously slow and buggy it just cuts off in between shots. Having said that, it's the best camera phone ive tested in that price range. One more important thing is when I've tried to unlock the phone it suggested me to use the pattern lock which is fine from time to time but it didn't unlock when i gave the right pattern. Ive restarted it still didn't unlock. It almost gave me a panic attack. As good as the software tuning is, its poorly optimised and what about times when you're in an emergency? Moto seriously needs to address these issues, despite two updates, there's no improvement in this. However it's still the best phone for camera, display and stock android with ecosystem features. Have you faced the same issues?
I'm using edge 50 pro since may and I can tell that this phone is over all balanced phone and camera, display, performance, design, all are good but there is one thing that I have to point out it the bugs in the software For example: camera app lag and it takes photos ab but slower then other phones...., sometimes like when I use Instagram then the brightness of the app is normal but when I open keyboard aur control panel then there brightness increases everytime and I don't know why is this happening and sometimes there's a bit lag in the UI but that's pretty rare. In conclusion I'll suggest moto to focus in there software department majorly. ALL OVER I'M REALLY SATISFIED WITH THIS PHONE 😊❤
Definitely not recommended camera app is unusable and yet edge 50 fusion is cheaper than this they solved the bugs of it but no bug fixing update on moto edge 50 pro till now 😢
Why you are expressing more on moto's. Lot of issues still not solved by moto. Talking too much on ip68, 1.5 display ,wireless charge ......but not on big issues like heating, draining, ufs, lags and bugs with terrible camera app. Foooooolish
I am using 8Gb Ram variant by 2 month Most of the vendor releasing AI feature (Specially one plus Nord 4 feature) motorola is laging behind. even we miss proper call recording feature in our day to day use. I don't think Google photos is enough right now motorola should release their own gallery application. Wireless charging is irrelevant for most of the user. camera laging issue is still an other headache. Overall really a good phone motorola should not drop its price like realme At the end UFS 2.2 is shameful at this price range unless it is tuned well. Your regular viewer keep it up...🎉
Order the phone in the first sale, It is still doing excellent except the camera (it's their best and worst features) as you mentioned and sometimes it kills the apps in the background like WhatsApp, Insta. Edit : Updates are still kind of hit and miss, they provide updates for name sake as of now. Just to say that they committed to update schedule. No major fixes from the day of launch
Moto hardware has been decent no problem with that but the Major problem is their lack software support it's very bad! this phone came out long time my friend bought it she's encountering some Bugs yet still didn't fix anything so wouldn't not recommend it
I bought edge 50 pro after 7 days of launch. The only concerning issue is really camera. You can feel it more when you start recording videos. For sure there will be some frame drops in the beginning and may be after recording for some time also. It really gets hot when you are using camera(more specifically in day light) Performance is good enough for day to day task even I play BGMI also in HD extreme setting. It gets hot but not that much(It feels more due to the metal frame) but it doesn't lag ata all. Even playing for 1.5 to 2 hours of bgmi, it drains 25 to 30% charge. So battery performance is also pretty good. If you don't play games and use phone for social media consumption and other basic tasks, it will easily provide all day long battery life.
I have been using moto edge 50!pro for about 3 months now and I must say Moto has been performing quite well given the price segment and the camera performance is just way ahead of last years moto edge 40 although there is still quite a bit of lag when clicking the pictures. So there I said it!!! It’s a perfect midrange phone minus some Camera UI that needs to be fixed with some OS update.
Perfect and accurate review. I'm using Moto edge 50 pro and all the problems are there mentioned in the review are real and annoying, Motorola should fix the issues. Otherwise device is very good.
I have been using the Moto Edge 50 Pro for the past few weeks and have observed notable performance issues and heating issues while charging. However, excluding performance, the device offers a positive user experience. Regular software updates have been provided, and the operating system functions smoothly with the exception of the camera app. The Smart Connect feature has proven highly beneficial during gaming, meetings, and general laptop use. Notably, the overall software experience surpasses that of comparable devices from Oppo, Vivo, Poco, Iqoo, and Xiaomi. The device was purchased at a competitive price of ₹25,500.
Using this phone for last 2 months,,for normal gaming and day to day uses this phone is a killer. But still there are some cons: -Camera app lags. -Sometimes it automatically shuts down (Maybe for my phone only). - Battery life 👎 -Haptics👎 Pros: -Good display and speakers -Camera quality 👍👍 -Charging speed is good -Phone can be properly held in our hands -Moto gestures 👍
Moto edge 50 pro also has a bluetooth connectivity problem when it's connected with two devices like ear buds and watch, it sometimes gets confused as to which device to use as primary.
For Me... met only camera problem it lags and sometimes it can't handle but if clicks well the picture quality is very very very satisfied becz of Phantom validated...... Other than that I got really satisfied for using moto edge 50 pro for last 3 month
I saw a lot of people complaining about heating issues on the 50 pro, not just while charging but also while scrolling social media and during normal day to day use. Did you face any similar issues?
Vivo and OnePlus after after sale service experience are a lot more superior from motorala. Also it is hard to find any accessories of motorala phones in the local market.
@@UnKnOwN_XYZ98your right hard to found local market but you don't know how Good is this phone , coz company made minimum units of accesories of any model so don't get easily but you know how long lasting this phones accessories , so please don't lost accessories like only turbocharger with original wire and offcourse inside box this one only with back cover 😎
Hi bro, i purchased S23 128gb for myself and moto edge 50 pro 256gb variant for my sister. I am really confused now and not able to decide which one should i keep and which one should i sacrifice 😂.. can you please help me decide.. previously i was using lg wing and even after 3.5 years it is still my sweet heart.. things i like -moto edge - 12gb+256gb, charger in the box, display, speakers, poled curved display like my lg wing, camera quality is average.. S23-processor, quite slim and light weight, easy to use but difficult to type, camera, 4k,8k , speakers.. havent checked battery, sot, connectivity on both devices..
Here's My review for 60 Days. Camera, Display, Speakers, Software, Mic, In Hand - All of these things, feel literally unbeatable, and impossible to beat in this price range. Cons - Heating, The only major heating is during charging, The scrolling and Gaming both can easily sustain 38-39°C Internallly. Gorilla Glass 5 - I've been using the phone without a screen protector to preserve the selfie camera and The screen gets easily scratched up, so get a screen protector as fast as possible. Misunderstood - Camera Bugs - They have been fixed 90%, UI Bugs - The first week of August had an update that fixed them ALL. Battery - Its decent, it can easily last more than 6 hours, and 6:30 is a piece of cake (With 3-4 hours of heavy gaming)
@@avijitkumarpaul1793 90% bugs and lags already fixed in the July Patch in the first week of August. Now the phone is as smooth as it's vegan leather back.
@@rahulsahadevan849 If it is on all over the display in all apps, maybe your Eye Protective shield or Night Light is on. Pull down the control centre, and there's a Crescent Icon, if it's on, turn it off.
You are really lucky you got it for only 27k. I wanted to buy phone 2 as well in april, it was around 38k, I couldn't spend that much and this phone was released that time. Really regretting my purchase.
people don't understand that this phone is not built for gaming or for very accurate camera quality. this is the only phone which have a lot of features that even if you even budget to 40k you get these all these features in any other phones. it's an all-rounder phone and all phones will have problems. no phone is perfect except costly phones.
For me no issue in hardware side.., but In Software side facing more bugs likes, 1) Fingerprint issues 2) while getting call automatically sounds getting high and low 3) After ending call sometimes i getting notification sound and sometimes i didn't getting notification sound, totally confused.😢 4) Unable to See current Data usage status in notification bar like 1.2Mbps where others brands have.
I am facing camera lag issue. And one thing strange. WhatsApp is not staying in memory m I'm not received message and call untill i open whatsapp. Sometime i don't even get call.
@@gamer2.0k.k3880km is too near for me. Because If i have to go to service center it should take atlease 350km+ or 150km+ And yeah 80km is too long. I
Except the camera bugs and App lock i don't have any kind of issue but the camera ones get into my nerves as I bought 50 pro for flexing my photography skills yup i could take awesome photos yet the shutter in videos and portraits 😮💨
Bro I think it's high time to call it out : "includes Paid Promotion" or " Videos in collaboration with Moto". How many phones you have done these many videos. 1. Unboxing 2. Several comparisons(at least 5 come to my mind or may have lost the count😂) one video with Nord 4... second with Nothing phone 2... Third with S23FE .. fourth with Nord 4CE... fifth comparo with 12R..... Well these are the ones I watched so am able to recall there should be many more..😅 3. Overall Review 4. Long term 120 days.. Apart from these aforementioned.. must have talked out these one your podcast type videos as well.. Enough is enough man.. plz don't spoil our expectations from ur channel 😊
That's because this really is a good overall phone, and many people are planning to purchase this. I'm an owner of this phone which i have been using for like a month. I clearly had many doubts whether to buy this phone or not. Glad he made these many videos so that i got a better understanding about this and made me buy this phone. Also i wont regret buying this as this is a really good smartphone in this segment.
I'm facing some weird Bugs in my Moto Edge 50 Pro. I can't use Drag & Drop feature in this phone, Suppose I wanna Copy some photos from Google Photos & Paste it in WhatsApp directly I can't after Moto's 1st or 2nd Security update. In Edge Panel I can't use it properly after there useless security updates. 😑😑😑😑😑.
Watching on my edge 50 pro ..... Absofu..inglutely loving this phone.....❤❤❤.... Just click and apps open....boy 7 gen 3 processor is fast....144 hz refresh rate makes scrolling pages a soothing experience....2 speakers are so Loud that you can wake up a sleeping person... Display is crisp and colours are gorgeous.....If it's charged to 100 percent in the morning, by the time it's evening 30 % juice is still left...15 minutes of charge and you are ready to go again .... Butt load of customisations .... Camera is ok... But AI fixes that....
I got this phone back in July, and I have to say the design is unique and eye-catching, just like Irshad mentioned. The balance between software and hardware is spot on, making it one of the best options under 30K. Other than the flash on the face when there’s a light source behind, I have no complaints. Definitely recommend it! ❤️. Best camera in this price segment can't complaint 😊
Issues faced in 60 days. Weak hardware: screen got cracked on the very 1st drop. Speaker got damaged just by rain water getting inside (ip54 phones are better than this) Wireless charging and back tap doesn't work since bought. Camera lack of focus multiple times since bought
Any one facing speakers problem? Today i am facing the issue. Both speaker is working but if when volume is full speakers are working more chilling. While listening it is very irritating. Any solution please?
I would like to see long term reviews of iqoo 12 and neo 9 pro as I m using neo 9 pro for a while now and I feel it's still a really good phone to buy at that price catagory but sadly people are forgetting about these phone see if you can make a video on it
I am using this phone now for almost 5 months however all the time when take photos the camera app either hangs or closes automatically too irritating.. sometimes it doesn't even capture the image of moving objects properly ... It lags a bit too... Not very good
I am using this phone . Its a good 📱 But bugs are there some examples like 1. New control centre some times not work properly 2. Camera captures great photos but the point mentioned in video is same in my unit 3. I also do gaming 2 to 3 hours and even in hot weather like in UP the temperature does not exceed 39 ° which I consider good performance Overall I am happy to buy this phone in this price range I got it in 26k in exchange offer
irshaad sir pl convey our concern regarding the bugs in camera section and software update if not sent regularity this will throwout motorolla from the market pl
I have been using this phone for 10 days So here are my thoughts The camera is good if you click the shutter button and wait for a second As there is roo much shutter lag and taking pictures of moving objects is not at all possible It creates a halo effect or like an overlay which doesn't look got The main canera video is not that good tooo But i liked the 3x telephoto video The phone heats up quickly while using hotspot and drains battery rapidly Fast cahrging is nice Speakers are not that good as mentioned in video Smart connect works well And its one of the best feature in this phone But the camera app still need to get a lot of bug fixes I used moto edge 40 camera and it was quick and processing didn't take as much time as 50 pro , considering 50 pro has a much better processor Ganing on this is nice I play codm at veryhigh 60fps and its consistent and surprisingly not hot while gaming There are bugs in ui elements too This is an issue I was using mobile hotspot and 4 devices were connected And I used my selfie camera The phone screen suddenly turned all purple as if it encountered some graphics error and then i pressed and hold the power button untill it restarted and everything is fine now But it wont guarantee that the problem wont happen again If youre choosing between pixel 7, s23 fe,and motorola If fast charging, 3x, curved display, and a great design are your needs go for moto Or else get pixel 7 for photography S23 fe for trust btw s23 fe battery sucks
hey bro i am thinking to buy this phone for my mother , she is in a Govt job and her usage includes writing and responding to mails , using WhatsApp heavily, 3-4 hours of calling and in spare time youtube . basically a heavy user , people are complaining about lags in cameras and ui , as of now are those issues fixed with updates , and with adaptive charging turned ON whats the charging time from 10-100% and are updates stable ?
Also, there's this thing, were while taking a video when u zoom in it switches to the 3x telephoto lens which either takes its own sweet time to focus or doesn't even bother focusing (even when done manually)
Watching it in moto edge 50 pro Real problem is HDR selfie against the light. They don't provide any improvement update rather a minor security update. I feedbacked them if the moto edge 50 got the magic Canvas AI wallpaper feature why should not edge 50 pro. So I request you to contact Motorola officials so that they may provide update 😢
The battery drains more than expected…..camera is nice but the application itself is too buggy fuggy, the results of camera are too far inconsistent …..sometimes phone crahes social media apps…”app lock and data connection speed “is not a minor thing missing which I’m looking for…..it has been said that it’s fully waterproof but it generates some problems with speaker and charging, but after some times it resolves the issue….. The things i like about phone are:-the portrait shots of camera are better than iphone 14 ….the display is much prettier than my ipad air 5 but it does not support 4k videos smoothly….looks awesome, when phone is lying on a table and it gets notifications;the edges light flexs 😮just wow!!
Dropped my phone and the screen got cracked. Edge display is very delicate. The performance is not that good. Camera picture quality is good but the camera app itself is slow and bugy sometimes. Andriod features are good but i am not confident about timely major OS updates
After using this phone for more than three months, I can confidently say that I love the Hello UI. One of the main reasons is that there are no intrusive ads popping up while installing apps, in the notification bar, or when opening other applications. This is something I genuinely appreciate, as I'm not being forced to watch advertisements in the form of videos or pictures that I don’t want to see. Previously, I’ve used Poco, OnePlus Nord, and Redmi phones, and I always disliked the ads embedded within their interfaces. Even though the ads were less noticeable on the Nord, they were still present. I understand that every phone has its pros and cons, and this one is no different. It has some drawbacks, like low shutter speed in the camera, delayed updates, and occasional heating while charging, although this can be mitigated by enabling the adaptive charging option. Despite these issues, I’ve really enjoyed the features it offers, such as wireless charging while driving. This makes the relatively small battery less of an issue, especially since I don’t have to constantly connect and disconnect the phone when getting in and out of the car. The IP68 water resistance has been great for capturing amazing photos and videos while hiking, on trips, or even in the swimming pool over the past few months. Even though I have the 68W charging adapter, the charging speed is incredibly fast and has saved me countless times. One feature I particularly appreciate is the 3.1 adaptive USB port, which significantly reduces file transfer times, as I don’t like waiting any longer than necessary. Overall, I’ve pushed this phone to its limits, using it both with and without a case. I love the design, the lavender color, the materials used, the aluminum frame, the artificial leather back, and the display. It’s so good that I’ve transitioned from watching TV to using my mobile, especially when connected to Bluetooth TWS, where Dolby Atmos provides an immersive experience every time. The only aspect I wish was better is the haptic feedback, which bothers me every time I use the keyboard or the phone rings, leading me to turn it off. Despite this, the phone feels premium, and the hands-on experience is so good that it doesn’t feel like a 32k phone.

I purchased this phone. The flimsy screenguard this phone is a disappointment. Due to the curved screen, a regular screenguard (which is thicker n durable) cannot be used on this phone. It's taking quite some effort to protect the screenguard and that hampers usability. Is there a solution to this? Please let me know. Thanks.
My Motorola edge 50 pro, slipped from my hands from the height of my chest, and completely crashed the whole display, it took 12,000 rs to repair it 🥵😭
I am using it since its launch. In addition to the problems mentioned i am also facing an issue i.e., phone getting switched off when the charging reaches 100%. I am using 68w charger.
I have edge 50 pro It works fine But kinda filled with bugs Using split screen, floating windows multitasking.. Also it heats up while recording Sattisfied but need updates
A preety good phone must say, bought it in the first sale and still going strong. But the bugs are very annoying, WhatsApp keeps closing in the background meaning I wouldn't receive notification or whatsapp calls. Also network performance is hit or miss not the best.
It comes with low watted charger. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but you didn't mention, right. I mean you missed saying other version doesn't get that charger
Sir I Want To buy Smart Phone under 30k Should I Go For Motorola edge 50 pro I have seen All your Video But Comment Section Is Full Of This Phone Heat alot, Late Update, Bugs Are Not Fixed, Camera Is Buggy I want a Overall Phone
I haven't encountered the yellow skin tone problem. Maybe you have defective phone. But the amount of time it takes to process photos is still a bit laggy. But acceptable at the price
Thank you for your previous review on Motorola Edge 50 Pro I bought it 2nd hand mainly becasue of your review and really happy with the decision. Just like you mention camera is an issue, but pixel camera APK fix the issue for me like to see if you guys can try it out and do a video as well.
Hi Arshad! I'm using #moto_g52 from past 1 year and 10 months. I recently saw a #green_line issue on my screen, and after a week it literally turned my screen into a disco light. I googled a bit regarding this issue, and it seems it's a common issue with most of the g54 (moto edge 30 users are facing as well, though i can speak for myself). Now, the problem is if i go to motorola they won't be helping it with a free replacement as my warranty is over and they do not have such policies like oneplus and Samsung in case of green line. The screen replacement will cost around ₹7500 and i bought this phone at ₹13000. Now, is it worth it to change the display? No. However the point of writing it, is that we need your help to address this issue and highlight it to the brand as because at the time of sales a good review and attractive specs nudge or motivates the user to buy this phones, and after buying there are no follow ups regarding the brand after sales services or the product as check the brands "long-term impressions". Because not everyone changes their phones after 2 years sometimes people do like to use their phone for 3-4 years.
I'm a edge 50 pro user I'm not a heavy user But I get around 4.5-5.5 hrs of SOT and the shutter lag is really messed up Freezes and unable to click right fast moments
Very comprehensive video Ershaad! One thing I want to put forward is that I am using moto g62 and it has a terrible issue. Whenever I start recording a voice note in whatsapp, the first 8-10 seconds do not get recorded. I have done every single thing that could be possible to do regarding the app settings, permissions and what not. Others have posted about it online also. Many of them say that the problem happened after android 13 update. Mine was also not there in android 12. I want to know if you have faced similar issues in any other phone, or Motorola phone to be precise. Thank you.
Hi, I bought Moto edge 50 pro nearly 3 months ago. To be honest, I will say that this one is above than moderate mobile (4/5) in this price range. All the gestures and features have been useful till now (even the Quick Launch gesture). To look on the issues, Moto could have done a better software optimization in Camera. One time I took a picture in Pro mode and took more than a minute to process and save. Ghost touch has been a minor issue to myself because, one time in my pocket the mobile automatically went to emergency call. The in-box case for this mobile is not also that great, because often dust enters all over the back of mobile. Still Moto managed to nail in screen, speakers, camera, performance and the battery life is pretty decent for me. So yeah, in total one of the better phones under 30K.

Currently only budget or under 25k Motorola phones make sense. Only the edge 50 fusion is value for monkey and well justified in the entire edge 50 series , under 23k it's just the overall best phone , in my family there are moto g52 and g9 from 2020 , both are extremely durable, we use them without cover & screen guard and they have fallen uncounted times but no cracks or damage , g52 is completely fine and display & speakers are great and g9 from 2020 with sd662 is even more smoother than g52 idk how , but it has stopped software support and it has got permanent ghost touch issue , screen sometimes works automatically, randomly and it needs to be locked and unlocked to fix the issue 😕 but still Motorola is better than bbk of redmi , etc . 👍
I'm a 50 pro user I personally face the issue with the camera during nigh time the camera get blur it happens n number of times to me and the the charging time it takes more than 25min to get charged this are my personal experience
If phone heats a lot, will it impact battery life? I am looking for 3-4 years of usage. Do you think moto edge phone can give me sound battery life for 3 to 4 years?
