Its same always...motos are nothing but a scammer ...i have moto edge 40 and i am getting no updates.....they just give securityupdates just for the sake for updates@@tarundakalia
actually this is the first phone where im really convinced that the colors are true to life. when you take a shot with your dslr, it often looks flat. that's the look I like coz sometimes I also like it natural and also if you want to edit a photo, a flat, true to life color is the easiest to tinker with.
I have been using moto edge 30 pro since last 2 years and my phone is still running on Android 13. I get security patches every 3 months but without any bug fixes. Over last two years my phone received only 1 Android upgrade and 8 security patches. Most of the bugs are still present even after all these upgrades. There is no HDR support in RU-vid and Netflix even though they claimed the screen supports HDR+. Moto really doesn't support their devices in a long run.
I agree, I'm ok with the delay updates but the problem with Moto is that they have bugs in the updates that no one talks and Moto don't even fix them. I had Moto edge 30 pro, which had screen flickering issue with Auto refresh mode and had network connection issue, Moto didn't even acknowledge these issue and not even fixed it for ~1 year. I don't trust Moto when it comes to updates.
Sadly it's cameras are not up to date, especially telephoto one. Also battery life is thing that's really poor on this phone even considering it's release date. But I enjoyed my 5 years of owning S10 128GB + expanded memory by purchasing 512GB microsd card
The night photos are about the best in it's prince class, beating the likes of the S24U in detail. But the Video is straight up 100€ Phone for some reason XD
one humble request to GSMarena if you test camera then test it in different environments its so easy to test every phone outside of your office but as viewers we want to differentiate difference pics from various locations for every phone!!!
If my phone was crap or I needed a new one I would definitely go for this phone. However since I have the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra I don't need to. Cuz my phone is AWESOME
No they don't that is cap because I have the Moto Edge Plus 2023 and we are on Android 14 we're supposed to only get one more update or two I think I'm not sure but by the time that happens I have a whole different phone probably upgrade to this ultra nobody keeps the same phone for 7 years That's diabolical and insane The older your phone the slower it becomes It doesn't matter how many Android or OS updates you get
Did you tested the dark model under water. I've noticed a tiny opening on back panel near volume rockers on my edge 50 ultra. I went to service center, they showed me same device also having same opening and they told me this is common. Then I checked your website and I see an opening on same place of your dark one model (grey only. The wood edition have no issues) so I realised that this is normal.I asked them about IP68 rating. They told me that there is no warrenty if water gone inside. I saw the same opening on your device on your photos that you have posted on your website (dark grey only) I want to know will this opening affect my phone's IP rating what is your test results of under water (grey edition). Please reply
Ordered x50 ultra for 400 pounds, looks worth that money. Camera in dxomark simililar like Huawei p50 Pro means pretty good as I'm bored with no G service on my p60 pro
I can't understand. All cameras are all over 50 MP and in the video for example you ranged every one of them between 12.5 MP and 16 MP? Shouldn't be 50 MP for the selfie camera???
Poco F6 has worst material quality, has worst camera quality, has a worst user interface (imo HyperOS is bad), doesn't have wireless charging and a bit less quality display than the Moto Edge 50 ultra. I'm not gonna say that the Moto is the best choice to buy but it's really a difference between the F6, the Poco is only focused on performance.
@@hfbnett9081 You just forgot to say that the Poco is also almost half the price of the Motorola. There are compromises being made by Poco, but the price is completely different as well.
To call a phone an Ultra it should be the best of the best and this certainly isn't, far too many compromises. I'd rather pay a bit more and get a top quality phone
The only Ultra phone I could name is the vivo X100 Ultra The rest is just high end but not flagship, same has Samsung who like Moto also refuse to put an 1Inch sensor in to cut cost.
Just not worthy tho. 955 U$ ? With an non LPTO tech, only 3 only year of OS updates, a bad camera software and an Snapdragon 8s gen 3 ? For that high price? Just.. no, motorola.
Why telling lies 8s gen 3 is not better than 8 gen 2 in any as seen in ur antutu scores... It's just between 8gen 1 and 8 gen 2 AND the throttling is miserable...
coming from an Motorola Edge 30U user, the Phone charges slower in summer. The charging speeds are 125W (barely ever happens), the more usual 80W, 60W and 40W depending on the device temperature, if the device temperature (battery)goes higher than 40°C, it will throttle down ro 18W charging, if it goes above 45°C, it goes down to 2.5W. This giges the advantage that my almost 2 Year old Edge 30U still has 94% of it's max Battery capacity as the Phones does nor really allow that overheating damages the battery. While heavy gaming and charging, the phone will stop charging and instead just take as much energy from the cable as the game currently uses. For Sony that's a special feature. My Phone is using the 125W charger around 19/20 Charges.
999 € (Euros) in EU Finland 🇫🇮. Edge 50 Ultra will only get 3 Android upgrades and 4 years of software updates. I say only because at this price point it should have been 4+5 years because Samsung and Pixel flagships gets 7 years of updates which is insane (maybe even too long? 🤔)
Daytime video looks very bad totally corrupt now, BUT it can probably be fixed soon with a software update? Motorola must do it otherwise this flagship phone will fail and not sell many units. Nothing makes cameras better with every update so now Motorola will have to do the same!
3 year of general software support and 4 years of security patches. If you want a more predictable updates release time consider buying chinese version of this phone (X50 Ultra)
Well to my experience motorola needs all my respect .why? Because i owned a motog60 and switch to a samsung s 21 ultra both have a 108mgpixel camara but the g60 has more detail when zoomed and when u see both in the same screen the motorola is just a better pic so ....
For the price and features its not worth it - smart phones nowadays cost more than pc gaming rigs i know which i would rather invest in and get years of value.
While charging, the product is a hot time bomb at home. The temperature rises upto 43.9 degree Celsius. Stucks while installing and playing Sonyliv and Prime Video. RU-vid works erratic. Overall not worthy for a phone of this price. Let Motorola concentrate more on substandard phones rather than jumping all off a sudden to premium ones. Features are just on the paper. Sharing screen on laptop caused my hp laptop stuck and bluetooth responded erratic. Henceforth I removed all the moto apps from Lap and then it's fine. Fortunately I could just throw this phone away with some piece of mind thinking that I bought a new phone and it was run over by a truck but my life is spared.
