Great video. I cut the case open with a utility knife. It has a finer edge and is stronger than the plastic tool designed for the purpose. I wear a leather glove on the other hand in case it slips.

I replaced the screen on a moto g stylus 2022, I use the strips to attach it and as the phone was used and warmed up- the screen started to fall off. Do you recommend the t7000 glue rather then gummed strips? also on the cold press glue, where do you get the tool or do you sell them?
Replaced the screen but couldn’t get phone to detect sim or even connect to wifi saying wifi has limited connectivity. What do you think happened and how do i Fix it?
I had my g power 2022 in for a screen repair and got it back and the microphone did not work... I called them and they said bring it in. before i got there the screen developed a small break in the glass behind the gorilla glass just opposite were the screw that you put in at 22:15. When he took it apart that screw was in alot deeper than the rest of the screws. He said that was the way it is made and it is supposted to be like that. My question is, Are all those screws supposed to be at the same level or is one deeper. Could this overdriven screw, if that is what it is, have caused the mic issue as well. He is saying i dropped it and claiming to be doing me a favor to replace it again for a discounted rate. Great video! Any guidance would be appreciated.
Tested the new screen like you did. Did everything pretty much the same, and once i got it all together the new screen stopped working (even tested it a couple steps before putting anything together). Should have just bought a new phone lol. Great vid though!
Sir can I use Motorola edge neo 40 screen for Motorola edge 2023.. Unable to get Motorola edge 2023 screen..the screen of both these phones are almost similar with only .5 mm variance ..is it doable let me know ..I will be a greatful subscriber
Hello I have a Motorola g power 2022 that I dropped and I had to change the screen and I bought it with a frame, but it did not bring the on and off button and the volume and I had to use my old one. The phone charges perfectly and when you connect it you see the amount of charge it has but it doesn't turn on I can't see what I have and I need my contacts because almost all of them are from work thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and help that you give us
My wife cracked the top left corner of the glass, now she dropped the phone and it has horizontal lines. Do you think it may be something damaged on the board or is this typical with cracks. They are gray lines some almost full length. not glass cracks.
Assuming you got this fixed by now but for anyone else those types of lines are indictive of the digitizer taking damage or bad connection. Since screen repair involves replacing both glass and digitizer it would likely be fine from that repair alone.
Unless I'm mistaken y'all are selling refurbished replacement screens for more than Amazon sells a complete new one for, but advertising you beat Amazon's prices?? Whatever works I guess lol
I feel like this video should come with a warning. I was going along following all the steps in the video and suddenly there was a spark and my entire phone burst into flames and the entire thing burned up. Maybe I should have known this could happen but I think it should have been mentioned that YOUR PHONE COULD POSSIBLY BURST INTO FLAMES so be careful.
Yup..I guess mine is good to go the trash. I got it for a little over $100 from Walmart with AT&T and the local repair shop asked me $100 to replace the glass... I now know why.
