why dint reviewers ever talk about call quality. you know, the main reason for a phone. so many budget phones drop calls or have a tiny sound after a months use. otherwise good review
Im still rocking a moto g9 play, and for the price i paid, £99, there is simply nothing out there to justify changing it. The g23 8gb would be tempting if the the extra 4gb added anything to performance. Maybe the g53 could be worth a go.
Excellent 👍 Difficult to keep up with all these Motorola emissions...Do they all go into the office on Monday morning and shout out random numbers? The thirteen looks the best "stuff for money" value.
Hey Uncle Spurt I wasn't really a fan off the Motorola phones about a month ago I bought the Motorola Moto G31 phone and I thought that it was a brilliant phone but I sold it. Them two phones that you where doing your review on are really cool looking phones.
But the question is where is the android 13 update? No android 13 till yet on edge 30 ultra and they keep launching new phones every month. I'm totally f***k up now because of this update policy.
However, the Moto quality has decreased. The battery of my G31 gave up after 11 months and the unresponsive display was a pain from the beginning. As always, excellent review, thank you!
Dunno for you people but for me Motorola nowadays is quite underrated and overlooked they have rly good models that are cheap with good features but sadly no one gives them a chance cuz they go for Xiaomi and Samsung and even some other Asian brands like Oppo and OnePlus which tbh all of those brands that i mentioned are better than Motorola nowadays it's not the era of flip phones anymore where Motorola was considered a top 3 brands at the time anyways i think that Motorola has quite good design on their budget friendly phones but sadly they are lacking in some aspects like the camera for an example even their most high end products still have bad camera and also the most important thing is that Motorola doesn't give enough software updates if i remember correctly they give like one os update or maximum two and a couple of security updates and that's it
This video was extremely helpful thank you so the only real difference between the two is that the g23 has much faster charging! Oh well who cares about that .. I've just ordered myself a g13 from Argos 💯
I wonder how many phone reviewers are tempted to give up and review lawnmowers instead whilst phones are almost treading water in technology advances? 🙂👍
bruv, when u review a low budget phone, i wouldn't talk about how 'low budget ' it is, we know what we are getting out of it for the price kind of, its a better idea to compare it to others in its price range
don't start with Samsung mate. they don't know even what they do!! ultra , plus , normal , unsure of a series also fun editions what that hell I don't want to talk about dublacated apps also. i gues they are the for order 66 :)) incase ifone day could kicked out from play store...haha like huawei
The whole "i prefer less choice" is what made iPhones stick around and made phones the ludacristly expensive but still mandatory accessoires they are these days. Having a bunch of levels to choose from between "extreme budget" up untill "highest end flagship" is something we should demand, not shun. Support for all the models as well as actual feature improvement instead of removal will follow. Too bad Moto is not that great anymore, otherwise i would support this brand every step of the way
I have taken this phone (MOTO G13) for my home. a problem during calling, after 1-2 minutes, the voice of the other party is stopped for some time (5-10 seconds). I have given this phone to my parents. I live away from home, haven't used this phone myself yet, but this problem is there since day one. I don't know what is the real problem, but it is, please reply if you know any solution.
Same thing. There is a thread on the lenovo forums and Motorola say they are looking into it but no fix yet. I'm not sure if I should return.mine yet or hold on for a fix. If they don't all do it though i worry it could be a hardware fault....
The G13 is a nice phone but unfortunately I had to go back to my old handset, I was unable to receive SMS messages including verification codes which is vital to get into some of your apps or make purchases, even Motorola couldn't fix the issue, found a forum and apparently it's a common problem with the G13 ,never had and issue with Motorola before I'm using my old phone Moto e6play
I have a G52 and a g82 and almost threw up when i saw and compared them with the G52 which is more expensive than both of them while being significantly worse in every single aspect
@@smarquez42 you mean G53? Yeah G52 is a beast, FHD AMOLED 90HZ (120hz is overkill for budget phones) SD 680 and a camera better than redmi note 11 which is almost at the same price also stock android 12 experience with almost no bugs. I can't complain about physical properties because it is budget. Shocked at how moto f'd up the G 3 lineup
It's woeful drops calls randomly. Take a look at the Motorola community online it's an inherent problem that Moto either can't or won't fix.....DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE
Elon Musk's ego. 😂😂😂 I've had Moto's in the past and am looking around for something to replace the Huawei P30 lite that is running out of puff. The G13 may just fit my modest needs.
Power button is a big issue for me...some times I have to press it like 10 x times to unlock the phone ...and still nothing happens...I thought if I enabled the Google assistant (same button ) G13 ill resolve the problems but it did not.... is a better phone though compared to my old Nokia ...after all 🤷
Owned it for a day. Seems like a good phone. It's a good phone if you don't want any of the extra stuff premium phones come with. The only issue I've found so far is the camera quality and the battery
@@mickyd2167 I've always used Samsung phones. And if you've used flagship phones like that you can tell a difference with things like the battery life and camera. But considering the battery life, I've actually changed my mind. A single charge will last you a day and sometimes a day and a half and I consider that to be pretty damn good
@@bradhall5220 Never had a flagship phone, had a few moto's though. Good to hear you like battery life. The cheaper moto's always had poor cameras especially in low light. Thanks for your comments, still haven't bought a new phone yet, but I will soon :)
I'm still on my Moto G7 plus from 2019, still pretty good, the battery is starting to take a hit, but there's a new Moto phone released every month now haha
Ha ha, Elon Musk's ego, I like what Motorola is doing except for the updates, but I would love to know if the Snapdragon 400 series is still in production? I haven't seen that many budget phones that feature them?
Finally!!! 🙌🏻😁🫶🏻 I appreciate you for reviewing these more budget friendly smartphones and gear for people like us mere mortals 😅 i really wish more tech RU-vidrs would do that too!
