Motorola Razr 40 Ultra Review: Is This The Best Foldable Flip Phone? 

Thank you for your honest review, I will be getting this phone soon and look forward to it. Of course there will be small shortcomings in the camera section but which phone is perfect and how much would you have to pay for it, not that this phone is on the cheap side with 1200.00 Euro's on this side of the pond. There is no "perfect" phone it's all about how the user will use it. If you want professional pictures you might as well get a good camera. If you want to play games, get a gaming console. These phones started out to communicate and not a single reviewer is touching that subject at all. How is the call quality, how is the reception, how well does the other side hear you? That should be considered in my opinion. If you want the best in all areas that you want, you would need to build a phone yourself or at least choose the components. That was in the talks a few years ago, but never came to market. I want a Flip phone, this one has a nice, large outside display, a beautiful inner display, cool useful functions, decent cameras, many recording options, you can play games and do you want more? Anyway, sorry for the rambling. Maybe I'll make a review video of my own once I get it. I actually build a gadget based ona flip phone for electronics hobbyist. Thank you for the great and detailed review..I'm in the states, I just ordered mine at a great deal with a free pair of Bose earbuds. I'm coming from a OnePlus 7 pro, which I love! The camera also is not the greatest. However, I don't focus too much on phone -cameras. For me the cameras just needs to be decent. If I want great images I take out my digital or film cameras. Infact, I like it this way because it encourages me to grab my cameras. I prefer to have a smaller phone in my pocket instead. Don't get me wrong , I love big screen cameras because my phone is my daily driver for 90 percent of the time. And a small screen will not cut it. A flip is the perfect marriage of 2 worlds. Will keep my phone in my pocket without taking it out when I need to sit down because of a brick iny pants. Also won't be falling out of my pockets at the gym, where I constantly need to leave on the floor in between sets. I feel a flip will be more user friendly in my daily life. We've learned to live with big phones, now there is an option.

Ive been trying to switch to andorid and this phone is making me want to turn to android. I dont have an apple ecosystem but i have an iphone12... I feel like its time for me to switch!!! Ty for this review! Compared to iphone 12, what do you think?

Just saw this phone in my local AT&T store. I actually like it. Don't know if i like foldables or flips better though 🤔

Anyone confirm if the UK ultra 40 takes 2 nano sim cards and if the peach fuzz has a leather back like the red colour?

Just got it yesterday. Noticed it got red hot with a 30m WhatsApp video call, and very warm when wireless charging.

I am quite confuse between, Motorola edge 40 or Motorola razr 40. and btw loved your setup...

Thanks for this! You mentioned you have always on display and that is the same as peek display? I have tried googling this and google says Motorola doesn't have always on display. Is the peek display the same? Would it stay in all night without touching it, as a night clock?

How about heating while gaming? And will the screen get permanent smudges like other screen protectors because of constant rubbing of thumbs on the screen specially while playing games like COD or PUBG!!

What kind of earbuds would you recommend for this phone

This RAZR looks lush! ...it makes the Samsung Flip 5 look clunky and clumsy. The screen appears pin sharp. If Motorola get the marketing right for it, then there's no reason why it can't be a global best seller. This could be the phone that puts Motorola back amongst the big players again. I really want one ....but I've recently bought a Pixel 7 which is great. It may not be a flip phone, but you can't have everything! I love the pure stock android clean interface of Pixels. Does Motorola use stock android aswell, or their own version user interface (like Samsung)?
