Just picked up a Razr+....the Retro mode was a special treat as the original Razr was my main phone for most of highschool and early college. I'm liking this new one even more than I did the old one....been about that long since I truly loved a phone. Thanks for the video!
Retro mode would be better if it's a stand alone mode, I have the 5g version and it looks like the new one does the same thing when you dial a number or go to contracts. It just leaves the retro mode and ruins the experience
great review , do you think with the large screen on the front being so exposed that it should be coated with something like liquipel liquid glass coating?
Thanks for some useful tips. My issue with the phone though is the fact SwiftKey won't work on the external screen, the phone forces you to use Gboard, which changes the default keyboard for the main display too. Gboard is horrible to use, especially after using SwiftKey on every phone I've had since 2013. I've tried raising this with Motorola, but they don't want to know. So I'll be upgrading to a different manufacturer for my next phone.

I getting my own in a few days and im so hyped. Rarely have I been so excited about a phone but this one feels futuristic and kinda cyberpunky to me with the cool colour names and amazing design. I was tweaked between the Samsung Flip 5 and Motorola Razr 40 Ultra but I had more than one bad experience with Samsung phones so Motorola it is! Thanks for the great video!
I wonder if you can help me I got my Motorola razor 40 Ultra it's been working great very happy with it but while I was on the external screen my message app was in full view I was typing a message and then I got a notification and when I selected the notification all of a sudden the message app went into default view when I went back in to put it into full view the word default view is no longer there so I'm not able to select it and now it's stuck in the default view by any chance you know how to fix this?

@@headbanger814 well the crease will be a problem of course seeing that in 1 or 2 years the crease will appear significantly but if you are looking for a long term phone, flip phone is not for you better stick with conventional phone as i do unless they can make the screen bending glass not plastic as now
@@headbanger814 honestly the crease is not noticable! Definitely way better than the Z Flip 5! The only time I see it is when the screen is blank or when I really look for it and still it's barely there
Just got my red RAZR+ last week. Totally love the thing. (I have been using Moto phones for about the last two years. Was so impressed I didn't hesitate to snap up the RAZR+ when Motorola sent me an e-mail announcing the mobile was available for purchase. Out of Context: FYI for people who don't know, Motorola Mobility is a division of Lenovo, a China-based conglomerate with 75,000 employees worldwide. You may remember about 10 years ago Lenovo bought Motorola Mobility from Google. And separately, in 2005 Lenovo acquired IBM's personal computer business. Bottom line: IMO the RAZR+ is a solid product. I trust the brand.

The case I got from Amazon is slick and decent protection. Foluu is the brand. Doesn't sound like a good brand but I figured I'd try. Id much rather have a OtterBox but I don't think they plan on making it
Here's no other ways, but reset the phone. If you have access by fingerprint, back up all necessary data and then wipe out. Also, you'll have requested to type your account password after that, so make sure you, at least, know the password or remove all accounts from the phone before procedure
I have almost all of these features on my OnePlus 6t. IDK if that's because OnePlus has made the same modifications to the OS or if they are actually just standard features.
That's great that Motorola has similar gestures as OnePlus. I have a OnePlus and constantly use the 3 finger screen shot enable. I thought I was gonna loose that feature switching over to Motorola, which I'll miss quite a lot. So happy it's available with Motorola too. Yay!
The same here with a still good OnePlus 6!! I was wondering whether OP would ever launch anything similar to this one, but then I sadly found out they actually did. The thing is that's a f*ckin foldable brick!!! I wouldn't have turned my back to OnePlus otherwise...
