@azt1forever a major app making company came out saying that the android market is more profitable, that android users are 3 times more likely to click on the adds, android users are more likely to buy apps, and android users are more likely to use the apps for a longer amount of time. just wait now that alot of major app makers are gonna start focusing even more on android
ipad 2 had so many more apps, a better interface, looks better, has more metal, and costs less so all the haters that say apple makes overpriced junk consider that
Hey quick question as you seem like you might be cluded up about these tablets. I'm looking for one for uni, firstly it was the ipad that attracted me but looking round theres equally good ones. I'm looking for something i can type up notes/essays ... got any recommendations? thanks x
@JGuez55: How do you know that I don't know how much it takes? How do you know that I don't have a brother who works for Motorola? How don't you know I know exactly the hardware break down of the device? How do you not know I've been right on every single rumored price point? The point... you don't.
@siliconsurf I doubt if you yourself own a tablet.Hearing that i own both xoom and ipad 2 might make u jealous and make u start thinking that you have got to learn some actual facts about the xoom and ipad .Xoom is a revolutionary device,i know i know..it is still in beta .But wait for some time dude ,you will see what xoom is potential of.I love ipad too.But xoom offers more features then ipad can.
Geez...in order to be an "iPad Copycat" it would need to run Apple's IOS as well, which it doesn't. Just because it's a tablet that's slightly speedier than the iPad and has a sharper display is no reason for people to cry and and call it names since it's better....Android > Apple's IOS

@TheDesignerAJ Sams club leaked that the Motorola Xoom wifi only will be priced at $540, aesthetics pleases those who don't care for functionality as much, both are quite matched. What gives Xoom a huge advantage is that it has a USB port ant can import music and movies rather than buy everything from the I tunes store. So now your cost point is moot, what else do you have to say fan boy? Plus how will you watch your porn on the Ipad?
Copy cat? Really?? Sure, Apple is pretty innovative and is the first to market with many of these ideas. But without competition, there would be no need to improve upon the current technology and we'd all still be stuck in the stone ages. Thank god for competition! Could you imagine if we only had one car or TV to choose from? Pretty much everything Apple does, android does better IMO. Apple Fanboys should be grateful for the competition because it pushes the envelope. STOP BITCHING!
