I was in my teens and twenties for these fabulous songs and yes it was a great time to live so much better than now sadly!

To see them in a smaller club where u could just about reach up and touch them. It was something all in step sound was fantastic and the were great outside after the shows they would sign autographs talk with the people very much an intimate feeling in Leo's casino on 79th and Euclid ave in cleveland ohio. They should have kept it like a place to spotlight that sound.

@@elizabethmunson2129 The music was great but I would never call it a great time. African Americans were still fighting for basic human rights, women's rights were cringeworthy compared to today and there was a thing called the Vietnam war that went on forever.

There were massive problems then too. It wasn't anymore pleasant than it is now. At least today we have language for some of the atrocities that occur.

That's the way that actor sang, he plays Dennis Edwards in 'Ain't too Proud' so he holds more of Dennis' voice compared to Marvin.

It was not meant to sound like the original artist. It a celebration of these icons who written and produced these songs
