Man seeing all those figures makes me smile. The figures are so affordable and so easily customizable. It's like He-Man Mr. Potato Head with all the swappable parts. Fantastic job on your new setup! Can't wait to see the new stories/commercials with this!
That's why I love this line because of everything you just said 💯! As far as the stories go, I can't wait to start using eternia for those but ibhave to finish the video I filmed already. It's a long one and with all this I posted about recently, it slowed me up from finishing it. Trust me when I tell ya this one is a good one n once it's done, I can continue the story with more commercials.

I love that wall paper idea… hmm… for the rocks, we got nothing but that to scavenge in my area lol. My poop table with my custom cover is 4x8 but a seam in the middle. Love your set up! Can’t wait to send you a pic of mine. That will be at least a week lol

Well no one else seems to have set it up, and you already got a table, wallpapered it, Got a backdrop, some small and big rocks, Then set up a bunch of figures ? that's fast work, and all looks great, I see videos of guys still saying they don't even know where they're gonna set up Eternia ? (lol) well I guess you got the whole house for yourself to do whatever you want, and moving a few arcade machines seemed like a good choice for the new display, It's awesome, and wish I could afford to buy and do what you did, and had the room (don't own any Origins displays yet, just some vintage ones) Another great video documenting your cool life as a fan and collector !!!
Thank you, brotha! I don't have the whole house to myself, just the basement 😅. Hopefully if i move in April, i plan on having a room just for motu and put this in the same room as the others plus set up a huge Battlefield for some of the larger vehicles i have. Its definitely been a journey making these displays, but i enjoy the line and love to look at them all set up like this. Thanks for checking this out 😊
@@MrHomeArcade Hey I'm just glad to get a reply. Good luck with a new place with more room to display stuff, One room for all your Motu alone is a great idea. But that will take a lot of time and effort. I have a friend who will be doing the same thing, One room just for his fave figure displays as well as figures in his bedroom and living room, But hard to find a new place to move to at a decent price, Hope things work out for both of you (I used to have a similar thing, But now only have my bedroom for displaying, I gotta move at some point too) Collecting builds up as the years go by (lol)
@MK7-MephistoKevin777 it definitely does build up ! I'm not too much worried about creating the room cause I pretty much have everything I need, n this isn't my first rodeo, but it's the moving part I'm not excited about, lol. Luckily, it's only 2 doors down.

Gorgeous... though I'd have gone with a forest-backdrop instead of the desert-one, to be more in line with "Revelation/Revolution." But that's just me... you do you, and you did awesome.
Thanks, brotha! The only reason I went with this was because of the pictures they had, which I've been looking at since the pre-order first happened. I wasn't gonna use real dirt, so this seemed like the best thing. If you're gonna use a forest type floor, I'd suggest you use what I did for my snake men display. I did a video on that months ago.

Yeah, I also work with miniatures/diorama techniques, so I know all about crackle-paints (Martian Ironearth from the Citadel range is a favorite of mine for bases), grass-tufts, flocking and the strategic application of fake plastic vegetation of the kind they make for aquariums. And yeah, I get that you were goin' for the "As Seen On TV!" look that reminds us of all those commercials we saw as kids. Which is ALSO awesome.

It's my pleasure! Back when i did my first display , there wanst really any videos out there that helped me with what i wanted to accomplish, so i had to figure out all this shit on my own. So far, I've done 3 tutorial videos for the displays i have. I'm just trying to make things easier for everybody who want to do more with their figures than just have them stand next to each other in a row. I love just walking in the room and seeing all the action taking place. It's eye candy, n i like to eat 😂
@davecinelli1068 Luckily for me, I don't have little kids, and I'm the only one that really is around this stuff in the house, so it's definitely safe from something happening to it. If I did tho I'd definitely put something around it
Yeah, I definitely agree. It's a good fabric and machine washable. It's better than throwing wallpaper up on the wall as well. It's also cheaper than my other displays for the pictures I had printed out.

I watched the video again and I'm gonna level with you: the poster in the back is too small, man. It sucks to say, but it's true. It would be better if you'd fix this. Otherwise your awesome (and not to mention very expensive) diorama is just a 9 outta 10, dude. You wouldn't want that, now would you? In my humble opinion the poster should cover not only the back, but also both sides. (You should make a panel on the right side, so you can place the poster on it.) It will create a more complete view into the Eternia battleground.
I had mentioned in the video the same exact thing. I ordered a bigger one the same day I made this video, so it covers the entire wall on both sides 😉!

Today Mattel canceled and refunded my eternia!!! I am in shock. I received king grayskull a month ago but not the playset... They just did following two tickets I opened. One a couple of weeks when they stated Eternia was about to ship and now canceled following my chase ticket yesterday... My order was pending fulfillment up until which shows refunded. One year I was preparing myself and the room for it. They screwed me up
Good Idea with the wallpaper and backdrop ! Never thought of that. I actually don´t like this Eternia set. But I like the other backgrounds in Filmation-style you have. How did you come by those ? Maybe a company that makes custom-wallpapers ? I find these rocks you bought very expensive. With plaster and paint you can do a better job if you are handy enough. Maybe you are, but "too lazy" ... 😉 ? Remember what Drunk-He-Man said : "Dont go out like a bitch!". He menas : don´t be afraid to try even though you think that you are not handy enought ! DON`T GO OUT LIKE A BITCH ! best advice for little kids at the end of an episode ... 🤣
I did, but I found a place 2 doors down. I might move there since there's no limit on how long i can be there. At least Moving would be easy. I'm still gonna have the same setup, but it's gonna be better since I'd have a room just for motu.ill be able to fit this display with the other ones.
This is great advice to consider BEFORE Eternia arrives and you unpack it. The use of a backdrop, and investing in some big ass rocks, really makes the play set come alive. I wouldn’t have thought it would be possible to get close to what the Mattel Creations people did, but you’ve made it relatively straightforward Mr Home Arcade. Definitely going to do this before mine arrives (international ships later).
Thanks, brotha! It took me a little while to find those rocks and especially that backdrop. The delivery time wasn't that bad ethier. Those rocks are just the right size. If they were any bigger or smaller, it would have been an issue. Thanks for checking this out
