Review of the Masters of the Universe Origins NECRO-CONDA Box figure that is new for 2024 and made by Mattel Toys. I also demonstrate some mixing and swapping of parts with other Origins figures later in the Review!
Great review as always. I’m definitely loving this figure. Ordered 2 of them. Despite the reuse of parts I think it’s a good combination. I may buy a couple more just to have.
That's awesome to hear! I'm glad you like this figure and decided to order a couple. I might also pick up another one later. He comes with some really cool accessories and colors. Thanks for watching as always 👍
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts on this figure and review! Yeah, those parts on scare glow really stood out cool with all the glowing effects! I think this Necro Conda figure is worth the pick-ups👌
Awesome figure and review man! Yes that black hooded cape will look best on the 200x Skeletor. I will have to try that once I get this figure. Hopefully I do. I have him pre-ordered at BBTS.
Thanks for watching already, man! Yeah, that new cape is a really cool piece for customs. I only tried it on a couple of figures to save time in the review. I found out that the neck collar can also tuck that neck piece under the armor so the cape hangs out. But it takes a little work to hide it. Overall, it's an awesome figure and accessories! I glad you got yours on Preorder now at BBTS 👍
New subscriber 👍 really enjoyed your review of Necro-Conda and the Glow is amazing especially with the translucent chest. Scare glow really stood out with the swap. I preordered two Necro’s just so I can swap for fun with customization. Also where did you find the snake 🐍 toy you showed at the start of the video. Thanks for the video
Thanks for watching and your subscription! It really helps this channel. I think this Necro Conda figure with all the accessories is a great addition to the Origins Snake Men series. Putting those parts on Scare Glow really stood out for a cool custom. I honestly have no idea what that Snake belongs to. I think I am looking on eBay at the time for some realistic spiders and small creatures. Someone was selling a small lot of those things that I purchased. The Snake was part of those mixed creatures loose in a plastic bag.
That would be cool and might be possible with that Snake lair crowd fund coming! Hopefully, the details will be presented at SDCC soon! Thanks for watching 👍
Great review! For not knowing anything about this figure from the vintage line and having absolutely no connection to the figure/Character it looks great!! We have gotten so many Snakemen but this guy looks really cool. Looking forward to getting him.
Thanks for watching the review! Yeah, I'm just trying to have fun with newer figures and be honest! I don't know everything about these newer figures and concepts if there were any. I did some research before the review. But I didn't come across anything that seemed consistent with this figures Origins or designs. I think Mattel just put this together a while ago, and now it's a new figure. I think it's a really cool reuse of parts and back story for this Re animated Snakemen figure now added to the Origins!
Thanks for stopping in as always, bro! Yeah, I can't believe it wasn't another exclusive! I think it's a really cool figure to add to the Snakemen faction! I want to get another one as soon as I can! I hope you get one in hand very soon! 👍
@@Themanchlid thank you. Yeah, he comes with enough accessories to army build and make them look different. I really like the snake men, I know alot of people are tired of it. But it’s nice to see the line going this deep. I’m kinda disappointed if the rumour is true about the snake priest being part of the snake lair crowdfund me. I really wanted that character.
@TheWandifan Yeah, I also saw the rumors by Toy Habits about the snake Priest being a tier one included figure with the Snake lair project. We will know what's going on at SDCC soon.
For some reason, the hooded cape on Skeletor and Scare Glow kinda makes em look heroic. Skeletor looks like a paladin sort of character with that hood on, even more so with Scare Glow. 🤔
Thanks for checking out this review! I think the hood and cape make them look like monk gangsters. Lol. I found a way to also pull the cape out of the armor and hide the collar piece. So the cape is loose.
This guy looks amazing! The metallic paints and glow effects are awesome. I love how MOTU always reuses parts in such interesting ways. I didn't even clock the snake armor He-Man and Skeletor armor until you pointed them out. I do wish the mouth, eyes and weapons were glow in the dark too, but overall very cool!
Thanks for checking the review out and adding your comments. Yeah, the paint, packaging, and accessories really make this figure interesting even though he's mainly reused parts as most of the Motu line dose anyway, depending on the figure. And yes, they do find interesting ways to reuse those parts, as you mentioned. I think the Snake Armor cast in glow in the dark plastic was a good choice for this figure. I like the over Paint scheme on the body parts. But I think it would have been a little better if most of the body was glow in the dark as well. It's still a really cool figure to pick up!
GREAT review Mr. Man Child! Some are way over the Snake Men, but I say bring them on. For a rehash of parts (which MOTU has always been about), Necro Conda is badass. Im curious as to why he's no longer a Walmart exclusive. Im not complaining.
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts as always! I'm all in for more Snakemen figures. It's really cool to see these variants or concepts designs come to the Origins. But I really hope Mattel finishes up the Vintage core characters for the Origins. I'm not sure why they changed this figure from being a Walmart exclusive! Maybe they responded to complaints from the fan base about this figure originally being announced as an exclusive!
Despite being a mismatch of old parts is an amazing army builder ore a ghost assasin kinda warlock thankyou for sharing im gona give the dagger too 200x evil-lyn and the sword too ma teela
Thanks for stopping in as always to check another review! The mixing and reuse of certain parts and accessories has always been interesting, and what makes the MOTU line fun! It all depends on the figure and how they went about the colors and design choices. I think this Necro-Conda was a good idea for the line with all the shared parts and glow in the dark armor pieces. I think those weapons should have also been able to glow. The dagger and 200x sword will go well with those figures 👍
What a cool figure man! Yeah, I definitely have to have him. We better be getting more horde.. and I want the dinosaurs bro. The powers of Grayskull they better be bringing it to us.
Thanks for dropping in already to check out the review! I really like what they did with this Necro Conda figure. I wish the weapons glowed in the dark like the armor. But it's still a solid Snakemen figure pick up! Yeah, I really hope to see figures like Modulok, Multibot, and maybe Dragstor to finish the Vintage Horde up for the Origins at SDCC.
Thanks for the review. I was originally going to pass on this one, but it looks alot better than I thought, and those are some cool accessories, so I'll be adding this to my next BBTS order.
That's awesome to hear! Congrats on placing your Preorder on this figure. I think he looks really cool and has an interesting mix of shared parts and accessories that make up this new dead snake soldier. Thanks for watching👍
Yeah, Spawn was the first thing that came to mind when I started the review! I actually mentioned that when I was filming at one point. But it was cut in editing for technical reasons. I got this figure on eBay earlier. I don't think Mattel Creations had him up with Night Stalker. Thanks for watching as always 👍
Yeah, they used an interesting mix of Heman weapons or accessories like the 200x belt with Snakemen killing sword symbols. Thanks for watching as always 👍
He looks great. Can’t wait till he drops in my BBTs pile of loot. I’m really surprised they didn’t do the weapons in the same glow plastic as the armor? Probably a mistake lol, or the armor is more flexible soft…I’m picky on the Snakemen, I think he will be my 7th. I would be more into finishing the horde than continue this line.
Yeah, he looks really good to add to the Snakemen faction. I really thought the weapons were gonna be glow in dark, too. But I guess not! I'm still impressed with the overall figure and accessories. I'm gonna pick up another one when I can. Hopefully, BBTS will get these in soon! Thanks for checking out the review 👍
Great review! Do you think Mattel will reuse the cloak for Laser Light Skeletor since they said they would be making all the original figures? Hope you're doing well. Take care!
Thanks for stopping in as always! If Mattel decides to make that Laser Light Skeletor to add to the Origins line. Then I would say they could definitely reuse that cloak. Time will tell, I guess! I'm hanging in there. Thanks for asking 👍
Thanks for watching! Yeah, many people are mixed about seeing more Snakemen coming to the Origins. The Cartoon Two Bad was just announced and shown for SDCC and Mattel Creations for later in July. He loos review cool! But I also hope we see The Regular Origins Two Bad, Modulok, and Rio Blast as well at SDCC!
You said it ...MATTHELL still does not get it with FANS of these toys...why not have a POSTER OFFER ??? guess that is too simple for them to think outside of the BOX....as usual this line died over a year ago at retail here in CANADA... UGH!!
I would like to see Poster offers on some of these figures and the art. This line and some of the decisions have very, very frustrating since day one. Many of these figures are hit or miss at retail in the USA. I get everything online. It's the only way sometimes! Thanks for checking out the review 👍
It’s weird, this figure looked pretty interesting when I first saw pictures of it, but in hand…I don’t know how I feel about it. I see what Mattel is going for with the translucent paint, making him look sort of undead, but just having the armor pieces glow in the dark feels kind of lame to me. I didn’t realize he was another kitbash of existing parts, but I probably should have realized that they’d be doing that for a standard “retail” release. As far as the overall appearance, I’m just not feeling anything menacing about it. I might be in the minority on this one. The black shroud and hood makes the character look more like a wizard or mage, not a reanimated Snake Men soldier. I don’t know, maybe I’ll like it better if I see it in person. ~Damon
@FandomEntanglement Hey Damon. Thanks for getting a chance to check out this review! I think in hand it's an interesting reuse of parts and colors that makes this new Snakemen character up. The glow in dark armor pieces are a good choice and definitely stand out with the lights off. But I think it would have been better if the overall figure and weapons could also glow in the dark as well. I'm really surprised the weapons didn't glow. They are just cast in the green translucent plastic. I like the idea of adding the lady slither tail, legs, and newer cloak to this figure. I think he's definitely a great design to army build with, and I do like dead re animated snake soldier concept bio. Aside from that, he's just a bunch of reused parts with the armor pieces that glow. I was surprised how much I like this figure in hand. But I would have liked it even more if the body and weapons also glowed. It's still an interesting army building variant to get in hand.
He-man and the Masters of The Universe I am Adam, Prince of Eternia, Defender of the secrets of Castle Grayskull. This is Cringer, my fearless friend. Fabulous secret powers were revealed to me the day I held aloft my magic sword and said "By the power of Grayskull, I have the power!" Cringer became the mighty BattleCat and I became He-man, the most powerful man in the universe. Only three others share this secret: our friends the Sorceress, Man-At-Arms and Orko. Together we defend Castle Grayskull from the evil forces of Skeletor.
Thanks for checking out my review! It is possible you saw another review with the mouth glowing. Certain lighting will reflect it because it's painted in fluorescent green. Or they could have added glow in the dark paint and didn't mention it in the review. But nothing on my figures head or body glows.
Yeah, it can, but it is kind of big, and that collar piece sticks out all over the body. You would have to cut it back and try putting it under the armor. Thanks for checking out the review 👍
Lol. Yeah, it's an interesting figure. I don't mind the name. It reminds me of the Spawn character all made up of necro plasm, and the king Hisss head looks an Anaconda. So we get Necro-Conda. Aside from that, it's a great reuse of parts and accessories. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts 👍
@@Themanchlid This figure is a perfect example for inspired: This Figure is vintage and 200x inspired! But sadly its nowhere near the "Skeleton Warriors 2 Pack" in terms of "everything".
@@Themanchlid Skeleton Warriors was the inspiration the castle grayskull-jailsticker (like frog monger). I don't know if they appeared in any form in a comic... On the Sticker you see only a skeleton hand, so they are inspired from this "hand" and created a unique skulpt (missing parts) from their fantasy. If you have for example a buzz off vintage figure and compare it to the origins version in terms of size, colors, design... its a remake, a clone.... everything other than inspired cause everything is copied.
@iliasfog8857 Vintage inspired has to be something remade very similar to something that once existed a while ago. NECO- CONDA and the Skeleton Warriors never had figures out or existed with the MOTU franchise before, as far as I know. So they aren't vintage inspired. Maybe concept inspired. The Origins that have newer figures out remastered from the old figures, such as Sy-klone, for example, was inspired off the 80s vintage figure design, but with it being remastered or modernized a bit.
you can do wonders with these new he-man figures, since this is a he-man world who knows what mankind can find,....maybe a very cool and kind skelethead named bones of fear with a kind heart, just his scary look, with a heart of gold, helping he-man and pretending to be Skeletor's sidekick,....and actually having a cool vehicle that goes both on land, air and sea,....maybe tru volcanoes too, at snakemtn,.....???????,........marius(punk rules).
@@mariusbabii I think between the fans, collectors and what Mattel is doing with the MOTU series of figures has been very interesting and creative! But there are dozens of different ways they can they can take this line and series. Time will tell what else they can come up with! Thanks for checking out this Necro Conda review as well 👍
@@Themanchlid me, i'm checking out all your vids and giving thumbs up, pl,us no ad skipping too,.....i love he-man toys,.......i'm a toy collector also,.......marius(punk rules).
Yeah, that's also kind of disappointing to me, to be honest! I really thought they were gonna glow! It's still a cool figure aside from that! Thanks for watching ✌️
