Wave 1 gives us Leo and Donny styled after He-Man and Man-At Arms, and wave 2 gives us Raph styled after Ram-Man. Hopefully in wave 3 we get that Battle Armor He-Man inspired Mikey.
Aw Man! The knees and elbows are weak and need to be heated to prevent breakage? These companies really need to step up to the plate and get it done properly!
I'm still in the fence about these I mean if I find a good deal I might get them but not as excited as I first saw the images mostly because of the proportions. The turtles have a good head scalp but then the body is kind of weird and the shell is more humid or lean abs. Man at arms. If it was up to me I would not approve it cuz the back shell looks more like a crab than a turtle with that pointy end. HeMan I assume he's going to be a peg warmer it just doesn't look interesting. But might actually be Man at arms
I'm not a fan of their shells coming off to be shields. If I get them, the shells will stay on. And if you got a large sword or weapon... you don't need a shield. Thanks for the nice comprehensive review.
Same honestly. I just don't like that look. My Donnie is holding his mace with two hands. When I get Leo, he'll either hold the 2 swords, or hold them as one, sans shell shield
These turtles might look a little odd for modern turtle toys, but they look pretty normal compared to a lot of the weird 90s turtles toys! the ones that shot pizzas out of their oven-bellies still takes the cake, lol. I don't collect MOTU (only masterverse) but I had to pick up these turtles. They just look so fun, Mattel making Turtles toys that aren't Little People or Plushies is really cool!
very cool .I can't wait to get these. I know a lot of people are curious as to whether you can strip the turtles right down to the bare bucks without the armour as it looks like you need the chest parts to hold the shells on ?
