why do you need penetration anyway? Chain lubing is only for rust prevention, the O-rings inside already has grease that can’t disappear because its tightly sealed
Yes indeed they are pre-greased. But too reach till the O and X rings, better penetration is needed that the grease is unable to reach. Chain lubing manufacturers wouldn't be writing "good penetration" if that was never a consideration. Also if it was only for rust prevention then why does chain feel smoother rightaway on some lubes while not on others.
@@sagaronwheels personally I felt no difference using this chain paste and any other teflon chain spray, I only use paste because the sprays are way too toxic to inhale
I suggest stick with Chain Lube. A good quality lube like Motul or Putoline will not splash on your wheel. Apply a night before our 1-2 hours before riding. Most riders lube the chain and ride immediately thus making the rim dirty. I hope that helps!
