Moulaye Lion of Senegal Simb 

Moulaye Lion Dance of Senegal Simb is an association and an artist company made up of some of the most talented and expertly trained Senegalese dancers, musicians and drummers of today. The lion show, with its blend of high-energy dance, acrobatics and rythms, is based on the ancient Senegalese story known as “Simb”, a magical and colourful ritual brought from generation to generation by musical storytellers known as Griots. This ritual has been reinterpreted by Moulaye Diallo Ambassador of Culture Lion dance through music and dance, by which the viewer is transported to a world of supernatural human power.
