MOULIN ROUGE Inspired Makeup Tutorial! 

To confirm for you: yes, all of the songs in Moulin Rouge are covers with the one exception being the song, "Come What May"! Though, even then, "Come What May" had originally been written for Baz Luhrmann's adaptation of Romeo & Juliet. It just didn't end up being used. So, actually none of the songs in Moulin Rouge were fully written for the movie. That said, the lyrics for "Spectacular, Spectacular" were all original! It's just that the melody is set to a very famous pre-existing classical piece called "Galop Infernal" (more commonly known as "The Can-Can Song" 😉)!
