I’m sure a lot of Canadians who have been struggling to find Ozempic in stock are very much looking forward to this. 🙏 🇨🇦 Would be curious to hear how aggressive your own plans are to switch patients from (often unavailable) Ozempic to (likely/hopefully) available Mounjaro.

I am hearing rumors in March, 2024 that the Mounjaro vials are in shortage in Canada. Is this true? (There has been an assumption in the US that the vials make shortages much less likely)

Thanks for the video Dr Dan. I checked with my pharmacy and they DO have Mounjaro in stock in Ontario. I’m hoping my doctor will switch me over from Ozempic because I can’t get it anywhere!!!! I will be forwarding this video to my doctor. 😉

@Dr Dan Mounjaro news item: Apparently ‘experimental dose’ Mounjaro is now in Phase 2 clinical trials. No official details yet on what these ‘experimental’ doses are, but some sleuthing points to them testing 20mg and 25mg, at the least. 😯 If so, it feels like a reaction to Novo’s current ‘ultra dose’ Wegovy 7.2mg trials, which are somewhat further along. 🤔

@@cloakster and novo has studies with other meds as well called cagrilintide. there was another one but looks like it got scrapped. with all of the new ones coming out I guess I feel confident that if i ever develop immunity to one, there will be lots of others to go to.

Is the black box warning for Mounjaro regarding thyroid cancer risk equal to the Ozempic warning or is there more or less of a risk? Is someone with multiple thyroid nodules more at risk than someone with no nodules? Thanks

Same, lost 85 lbs on Ozempic, I did the work; exercise +healthy eating. Will my physician be OK switching me to Mounjaro?

Saxenda is always out of stock here in Germany. So i have to switch to a different nedication which doesn't work as well and cost more. Why dont the pharmaceutical company produce enough saxenda to keep it in stock. This on again off again doesn't help

Looking forward to this! Not looking forward to getting the price information tho! Haha. I'm doing 1mg oz every 3 days, which is honestly a real pain in my butt...but my dr won't let me go from 1mg every 3 days to 2mgs every 6 days. Very annoying. Thanks for this! Looking forward to Wednesdays live!
