Ahhh I remember attempting and failing miserably to run this game on my laptop as a kid 🤣 now I got that bad boy on the ps5. I dabbled with Warband on the PS4 and PS4 Pro a while back and loved it, but would struggle late game. I’m excited to try it on the ps5, considering I got the console very recently.
Been playing games since the Acorn Electron was a thing (never PC though). Found this a year ago and thankfully it doesn't tell you how many hours you put in. On my third run through, full damage, no markers, no zoom and sights, first person only. Love it! This game has knocked Goldeneye off my No. 1 spot.
The Graphics are not that bad? Idk what's wrong with people, lol. I would rather play a low graphics game which has a good mechanics and gameplay than a game which has a high graphics, but lots of shitty bugs, like Cyberpunk 2077, and Battlefield 2042.
The story mode is basically nonexistent, it’s a lore rich game but no story. It’s a sandbox type of game with simple missions for various lords like delivering letters, training men, finding supplies, or to join their war band and help siege a castle. It’s very much focused on you creating your own path/story. And yes in my opinion it’s worth just buying for the single player experience.
@Hghhg H Thanks I found the combat to be fun however I found trying to get more quest difficult. I also am uncertain of what to do when I am not attacking looters.
Mike Dawg18 you basically have to use your imagination. Are you a merchant? A bandit? An aspiring knight of the realm? Or even aspire to be king one day? You choose your path

@@MikeeUp2 when I play, i usually gain a small warband of about 30 people, small quantity but with good quality troops, save up until I can buy some dye works until my army pays for itself every week. Then I join a kingdom according to my play style
I’m no pro in this game and the tips I could give aren’t too valuable unfortunately. I’ll say that the Swadia Calvary are probably one of the best troops in the whole game. You can get some easy money by raiding small towns once you have a medium sized party. Besides that I’m not sure what other advice I can provide sorry bro, hopefully that helped some. Good luck!
Dont make a faction until you've gathered a dozen simps at least which you can do by glitching the combat appreciation thing. Fight alongside someone then quit without saving and repeat until they love you.
If you want an actual good experience versus experienced players in multiplayer, you should play it on PC, You miss out on pretty much everything good on there. Such as Mods. Which is the key to this game. If you play on Console I think its a waste of money and time.
@@Swankykane I can understand that. I have 9000 hours in the PC version of the game, mostly multiplayer. The mods and multiplayer make it a very good game for PC if this is what youre into. If you can afford a pc, you should get it on there.
Yes this footage was all captured on the Xbox, I don’t use this feature too much I typically just charge or hold high ground in most fights. You can get to this window by pressing on one of the D-pad buttons. If you go to the controls menu it should give you the exact button, sorry I forget which one it is.
Anyone ever find a single cheat door this? Dinars? I figured out how to cheat standings with officers ..example king olf i have 35 friendship. I'm on day 2...
@@Jupiter.141 i got it on the PlayStation store. It's usually on sale there. If you got a Xbox it's on game pass. Hell you can buy game pass and play it for ten bucks
It's fun, but I keep getting stuck in a rut where I can't get more then one fief. Tbh the politics system confuses me because I have no clue what I'm doing
On PS5 can someone help me I siege a city (not a castle), I win the first battle but the second on I lose always they only give me two other soldiers but there are like 6 enemy soldiers and I just can't kill them all specially with them using crossbows
Kinda wish they upgraded the game a Lil bit on the console release. Maybe increased the troop count to something like 500 or even 1,000 since it's such an old game
If they do that, it'd lag quite alot. On bannerlord there's mods that tried making it past the number cap for both sides and if you don't got a good pc to run then your game can lag quite alot. Idk how laggy it'd be on console, but it can really mess things up xD.
Honestly its a really good game even if its on console. Which is very limting, compared to pc, I played about 2000 or so days in game. And honestly playing on console warband before I got my pc. Im glad I got Warband and Bannerlord on pc. Best money used in my life.
its very good on console but the only problem is the troops only 100 a battle is actually boresome cause you can defeat everything with 20 swadian knight the enemy won't have over 100 a battle they just spawn after death which ain't scary at all currently 20 sk and 7 huscarls and some random troops make a battle 53vs53 even though i have fought all the nord lords 400 army and still won with 3-7 at most loses and mostly of those 3-7 are wounded
yea dude I understand where your coming from Swadian knights are op. Once you have an army of S. knights your almost unstoppable. I have to force myself to use other troops when I want a challenge.
Great video Kane. I hope you make one of the upcoming sequel- the console release. I will get this one to start getting used to the gameplay. I'm sure they'll be many upgrades in the new one, but it should give me a good idea.
Idk why I put off on buying this game for so long. It’s like a game I’ve kinda wanted to play since I was a teen in 2002. I hope in future there is better versions of this.
They actually recently released Mount and Blade: 2 Banner lord I just recently got it, and that’s basically what it is a “better” version, modern graphics, more cool game mechanics, etc but it’s only on pc

i know its a year later, but i just bought this game and i'm having a hard time in combat. is there any tips that can help and also tips to make money because at the moment i'm fighting and then losing anything i've got till that point
Dude ive been reading reddits and the forums you pick it up i would say generally pick up some swadia some nords some vaegars then go fight looters and mountain bandits u can usually solo them by riding round on your horse until they have no ammo and rinse and repeat until your army is strong and your reknown is high then you play from there pick a faction and go to war baby
I agree the sequel-- banner lord fell a bit short of my expectations. The battles in Warband are currently unrivaled compared to other open world medieval games in my opinion.
Also whats the thoughts on best weapons in the game as its harder for me at least to use lancers/horseback im all about on foot chopping through people
Yes👍That image is a zoomed out image of the map with the base territories highlighted. The actual in game map is what you see right afterwards, me moving my men around in the desert terrain, via the interactive map .
Ur a beast! Btw have you played warhammer: vermintide 2? It’s on game pass and is phenomenal. Could be worth reviewing. Not sure if you’re a fan of warhammer
That was actually my 6th video I made, tbh not the best quality video looking back on it but I think I’m improving some. And yea I love that game it was the first Warhammer game I’ve played!
