Hey Pooky. It’s been a pleasure and I’m really enjoying watching yourself and the other guys progress and enjoy our amazing sport! Above all its great just to get out in the fresh air and have some fun. Thanks for watching. 😀👍
Great vid thanks Steve... My experience of Caburn is that it can get very rough with bullet style thermals which rocket you up and drop you down. How do you fly these conditions? Thanks Steve... if I recognise you I'll come over and say hi :)
Thank you Jacque. I think the strength and type of thermal just depends on the conditions on the day. Generally I’ve found it a difficult site to fly when busy as there’s only a couple of areas of ridge lift. Naturally everyone is looking to use that lift prior to hopefully picking up and staying with a good thermal. Then if you do get a good thermal near the ridge you have to commit and therefore travel quite a distance over the back!! It’s a challenging site but can be great fun. Hopefully see you soon. I’ve just upgraded my Gin Sprint to a yellow and red Gin Explorer 2.
