To end 2023 with a bang I decided to hike the 22 km track to the top of Mt Feathertop ( Victoria's second tallest mountain) it was definitely a test of strength and endurance.
I found an awesome 4x4 track next to The Dargo high plains entrance called Twins track, which happen to have some of the best camping spots the Victorian Alps has to offer, and luckily there was barely a person in sight, id say this is one of those lesser known tracks that has just as much to offer as blue rag and billy goat Bluff, it was a safe clean drive that doesn't require a big modified 4x4 to conquer ( can easily drive with a stock 4wd )
After meeting up with one of my best mates Gordy, we decided to drive to the top of Mt Murray, a Beautiful mountain with stunning views.
Then we headed down to the Buckland Valley to find a perfect little campsite along the Buckland river where we enjoyed a few well earnt drinks and a great swim in a cool little swimming hole.
