About Mont Ventoux from Bedoin:
Mont Ventoux does not need much introduction. It is simply one of the most legendary climbs in the world. People from all over the world come here to tackle 'Le Géant de Provence'. There are five different ascents to the top. Three by road bike and two by mountain bike. This route starts outside Bedoin. This is the perfect starting point to start as you get very good views of Mont Ventoux and a nice warm-up before the steep gradients. You also get to ride through Bedoin, a typical Provençal village. You will ride among the vineyards for the first seven kilometers / 4.5 miles. Then the vineyards are replaced with forest and steeper gradients. The segment through the forest requires stamina. It is long, hot, steep, monotone and without any wind to cool you down. A real killer. .. If you make it through this segment, chances are good that you'll make it to the top. After 17.6 kilometers / 10.8 miles, you leave the forest and can enjoy amazing views for the rest of the ride and wind to cool you off. Despite the amazing views on this beautiful segment, the last kilometer (flame rouge) is quite difficult. It has double-digit gradients and a 15 percent ramp to finish off the ride. If you make it, you have made it to one of the most celebrated and popular cycling destinations in the world. It is not for no reason that Mont Ventoux is called the 'Giant of Provence'.

Adding music to the ride:
Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is awesome. But when it comes to music opinions are very mixed. This is why we do not add music to our rides. We simply do not want to spoil your ride with music you do not like. But it is quite simple to add it yourself. Open an extra browser tab. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, RU-vid, etc…) and pick the music you like and enjoy the ride...
