Zirkel is one of my favorite spots in Colorado. Gilpin Lake my favorite hike. You are a knowledgeable hiker and accurately recorded the area. It does get wet a lot. Enjoyed

Beautiful hike! Did you get to see much wildlife on this loop? Thinking about doing this loop and would love to see some deer or elk if possible.

I did get to see some Elk on the start on day 2, but other than that not a lot. Still worth doing the loop though
