really wish I sent that drop, but I'm stoked to try them out in a safer environment and come back for that one later! LIVE STREAM right after the video premiere at 6pm MST!
went there for the first time this past weekend, first time downhill and to utah. saw the drop and i wanted to hit it so bad especially when i hit things like that before. but just couldnt get myself to.. but i did eat shit a couple times from the loose rocks so that did hinder it a bit
Love your videos so much, the production quality and the shots are fantastic, and the videos aren't click baty bs like most yt videos but are just super chill/relaxing to watch
@@LucasCatania17 could've fooled me 🤣 I find yours exceptionally well made! And thank you bro 🫶🏻 I have maybe three drafts of every thumbnail before I get to uploading 😂😩
I’m blessed to live 5 minutes from here in Provo Canyon, what an epic environment! Did you hit Moab 2 hours south east after? Fezarri’s HQ is jsut 10 minutes from here in Orem, sure they’d love you to stop by , great company !
LOL, the joke goes: there are 2 types of mountain bikers; those who love flow trails....and liars. That fork was not set up for you. You should never bottom out your fork unless you have made a grave error in judgement on the trail. It either needed more air pressure or more volume spacers or both. As for drops, you are opening up a real can of worms there. Perhaps the most controversial subject in mountain biking! The ONLY video you'll ever need concerning drop is this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-om-2RRXveCQ.html
At this point of the season I would wait for an educated bike purchase next year. In fact check with the resort’s rentals to see if they would be willing to sell a rental bike. Sometimes they cycle through old bikes to get the latest models and might be willing to sell some stock for a discount. Also bike shops will discount last year’s models in the middle of winter. That might be the opportune time to find a deal. Good luck.
Not sure what your travel was on the front fork but you probably just needed more air :). If that happens again, take it back to the shop, they’ll adjust it for you. Don’t worry, you’ll soon have your own bike, a shock pump along with other stuff to keep you dialed in lol!
Needs more & better travel. Don’t do ramps yet you haven’t learned enough basics yet be patient consider an athletic intermediate skier trying double blacks
Lucas, Deer is one of the "plushest" resorts for Skiing (sometimes double grooming overnight on dump days). Same can be said about their MTB trails. Deer's trails are pristine for the most part. What you experienced at Sundance was more in line with other Bike parks. Mammoth for example, has loose and chunky trails compared to Deer (except for the Town Trail where everyone rides). You just happened to start your Bike park riding journey at Deer, one of the most high end Bike parks out there ( (in terms of trail maintenance).
Really enjoying your mtb videos! A little more air in the fork would’ve definitely helped, but having a bike with a little more travel for the faster/chunkier downhill trails is ideal. A Fezzari Delano Peak or La Sal Peak would be a little more suited for the riding you did there. Fezzari makes a solid bike for the price.
@@Mr._KeepsGreat idea.... my old one has a somewhat pointy end and can be annoying to use for my rear shock. It looks like modern designs have flatter push ends and can even go to 400psi.
4:56 I think you are getting to the point that you are feeling the ride and understanding what’s going on under you. What do you carry in your pack? Shock pump, multi-tool, tire kit?
