I was stoked to head down to Eden a few weeks ago to do the Quadcrown Orca stage race, which was a fantastic weekend riding some of the best trails on the sapphire coast.
The crown jewel of the weekend for me and for probably many who were riding, was the wilderness trail ‘Round the Outside’ at the Gravity Eden MTB park. This a roughly 8.5km trail of awesome flow that needs to be on everyone’s trail bucket list!
Unfortunately I had a few flats on the descent during the race which broke up the flow, so I had to head back out in the afternoon to have some more fun and get a complete run in. Plus, I got to finish of by riding down to the beach for a dip!
The sapphire coast is a spectacular part of Australia, and has the mountain bike trails to back it up, with great networks at Tathra and Eden. Definitely worth a trip!
