This week, in an all new travel episode, we explore the Gatineau Park in an all new way! Thanks to Nomades du Parc, a new business founded in the charming town of Chelsea (Quebec) by Jacob and Vincent, I went mountain biking for the very first time of my life in the amazing Gatineau Park. This place is a true paradise for mountain biking enthusiasts with over 100km of trails to explore. And the great thing is, Nomades du Parc is located just a few 100m from the Gatineau Park.
Nomades du Parc offer not only mountain bike and paddle board rentals, but also guide services to help you explore the park. They also offer Wednesday laddies night ride and Thursday taco night which are open to everyone. The Tacos were so good and made by chef Julio Martinez from the awesome Chelsea Pub .These cool activities allow not only to build a really cool community, but also generate more inclusivity in the mountain bike community.
While it was 40 degrees and very humid, I had such a great time not only on the trails, but also on the Meech lake for a sunset paddle session. Trail 36 was perfect as my first trail and allowed us to take in the beauty of this historical location. The Gatineau Park truly is an outdoor adventurers paradise!
