Great video man. This was my wife and my first mtb trip. We had just gotten into the sport and was so excited to visit Colorado. I had a pretty good/ bad get off on an easy stretch of this trail but on a fairly steep off camber. Hard to keep your eyes on the trail with that scenery though!
Hey man, Great video, thanks. planning to do the 401 in July, quick question, I am guessing you started climbing in that parking lot (where you finished), what place (name) is that, is it a trailhead? Thanks.
Nice video! I just rode Lupine a few days ago. How does the 401 compare for climbing and technical difficulty? 401 is on my list for next time. Thanks!
I didn't ride Lupine when I was there, but there isn't really anything technical on 401, it's all flow. The climb up the road isn't bad, then it gets steep once you get onto the singletrack. I walked a lot of that part.
I have the desire to buy a bicycle all suspension, someone can tell me or recommend between these two brands for which I can stay ...... a- Pivot b- Scott
Don't get too caught up on the brand, as they all make great bikes. I suggest you demo whatever you're looking to buy first, because geometry makes a big difference in the feel of the bike, and it's going to be different for everyone. But the rider is far more important than the bike, especially for a recreational rider. You're not going to notice a difference with different bikes, other than the geometry.
Nice! Looks like you were there just before I was! Aspens were way more gold the week we were in town to ride. Here is my vid from 401 - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qmPPf_VwXYk.html
I think we're gonna have dig deep into the Earth if we want to add elevation, lol! Problem is, it would just fill up with water. Especially now. #stopraining
