I'm glad the gambles and the chat are visible in these vods, because those moments where the 5% of non believers actually winning in a gamba is the level of stakes I live for.
I cannot describe how tense this was from a watching experience. Spiff is doing all the work, I'm not doing a damn thing, and still I need to go grab my heating pad because of how tightly clenched my back muscles were just from *watching* this,. I'm literally sore.
The poor character is just one giant scrape at this point. Getting yo-yo-ed around a mountain with that much rock? Dude leaves half his skin on that mountain.
and dont even start about how not only must his ghand be beaten and bruised from SOMEHOW gripping rocks after falling 200 meters, but also how players desperatly just scrape his hands on the walls when they're falling hoping they might catch something. how does he even HAVE hands??
@@Uncooliodon’t get me started on solemn tempest lol. Falling almost a kilometre and catching yourself on an ice wall with one arm despite reaching terminal velocity
@jugftw4868 Dude, his last video, imagine falling several kilometers and just being like "shucks, back to it" At this point we're playing as a demigod
Chat constantly being like ROPE ROPE ROPE ROPE ROPE after a difficult jump when it would serve no purpose and NO HE WASTED ROPE RIP not realising it refreshes each climb (and as such using ropes to get more ropes for your total is a good idea) gives me life
@@Bobb243 for me its just extremely fun even with my insane fear of heights , like whenever i go up 2 rocks i already look at my barometer to see how high up i am lol
Ive noticed that a few of spiggs vods are kinda quiet and when I turn it up, random adverts in the middle end up blasting out because the volume has to be turned up high to hear him
there is in vrchat, it's called climbing carnival or something like that. it's not as cool though, you just grab the ledges and stuff and there's not as much environment or mechanical variation, at least last time i checked. but it takes, like, hours to finish.
I think it not being vr adds to the game. You can do more frantic movements without getting motion sick which gives you more high moments of risk and reward.
i think people said refund not because they loat but because you lost unfairly, you were roped but it unroped you without you doing it yourself just because you pulled out another rope, so it felt unfair that you fell and they lost when it was a game issue and not a skill issue lmao
There are only two ways to detach from a rope 1.-Pressing "T" 2.-Looking down and pressing "E" So it was not a game issue nor a skill issue, just an accident from spiff
I can't describe how frustrating it is to see Spiff rely so heavily of ropes and miss out on actually learning how to navigate each route normally. I expected him to be way more daring than this.
