As always a very nice visit in the beautiful outdoors with you. The spam reminded me of last year when it was about all I could eat,before I had esophagus dilation surgery open up my esophagus from the damage radiation did when I had the lung cancer. There's nothing like catching fish and cooking them over a nice campfire. It just looks so peaceful on the water and just to take in all the surrounding sounds makes for a ideal day and evening in the wonderful outdoors. Thanks for taking the time to create and to bring us along for the adventure! Take care and until next time happy trails and explorations.🙏🙏

Thanks Lynn, nice to hear from you as always. I had never had spam until that day, only the regular luncheon meat. I found it so salty, the cure, not sure why, but guess if you don't add salt to things and more spices you really notice it, I do however like that its more ham and it does fry better if you choose. It was so wonderful to get out after a long winter, its the reason I like sports, more for the getting outdoors and spending time there, you see so much and appreciate and are thankful for the blessings. The time went so fast relaxing on the water. Take care and thanks for the encouragement, it always is uplifting and helps inspire me.

That saw horse was the type we had by our house growing up, my grandfather would spend hours sawing up wood with his bucksaw and I spent many a hour there with him. He didn't believe in using chainsaws , he said they wasted too much wood with their cuts. Neat windmill wind direction unit. Great cook and catch , I had a cook but I had to have beans because I didn't catch LOL Awesome day out Connie , hope you have an awesome week.

You also Garry, watched your vid a couple times on the TV, just got around to replying, as you say the lake looked familiar lol, I like the fishing as its relaxing, its takes you away especially when you casted as many times as I did mindlessly but you have a great time because you are outside. I remember many trips fishing on east coast, and its nice all the ponds and still waters with the brookies, its not common here, you do a lot of bush walking for sure. Yes, the sawhorse is a handy rig, Dad also did the square box one, it sure helps with the slabwood cutting I know. Keep smiling and take care

I want to harness the wind for off grid power to charge batteries or pump water, I got the solar panels figured out as a source but figured should put that wind to use too, its fun experimenting with off grid stuff.

Thanks Dave and Cricket, I always wear my life jacket steady, eventho only person other than family I trust to go out on water with, its a huge responsibility. The first one was a char and the next ones where pike minnows. I had a nibble from a rainbow, but the kokanee were only interested in jumping and not any biting, even the fly. Just timing as you know. Yes it seems the number of casts have taken its toll on the reel, I am not much for open face ones but they are the better deal. Take care and blessings

I GOT YOUR STICKERS!!! WOO!! I LIKE! I ain't camped in a while, this gave me the itch! I'm supposed to camp and fish with another RU-vidr on the 22nd so I'm looking forward to it even though the heat is terrible! Your fish looked good too, I ain't caught a fishing so long I won't know what to do when I finally do 😂. Are you in Canada?

Yes canadian wilderness that's me. Glad to hear all is well. I hope you do get a trip out, been missing your vids, akways fun. I am happy the stickers made it, look good for the new rig and hope someday Mike will be around for his. I went out exploring anorher spot and the fishing was even better than this, I get way too excited 😆 Take care and don't work too hard this Summer and thankful to see you are ok.

No its the invasive pike minnow, they are really not something one targets unless bounty like down South, but finally took the plunge to test it so I know what its like, most people avoid them because the bones, especially the lower fillet, others love them and recently discovered they can them in brine with tomato sauce much like east coast herring for sol Gundy, others would use them for bait or for garden fertilizer.
