I used to cover Mississippi-Queen in a band called "Headspace"... At an outdoor festival multi-band gig, I ran into a sound engineer that toured with Mountain.... He came over to me after we were done with our set and told me, he had to do a double-take thinking it was actually Leslie onstage since I sounded so much like him and really belted it out just like he did.... That's pretty cool.... Unfortunately Leslie and I also share some common health-problems, diabetes, fucked-up right leg, over-weight... RIP Brotha-man I'll make you proud again one day soon.....

Its 2022, as young Drummer in 80's loved Mountain, from UK ..done stuff later, Thought Corky died in 70s ...oh wow im 50 no watching this is great ...even bassist, went on to play with ACE from kiss ,,,we need Blues back and talent ..to learn ones craft from yonder ,,even Jazz...something is missing today, Blues, Jazz, Old Rock..its all connected to soul ...wonderful .....great stuff...

Les sounded great here and he looked pretty healthy. I have to admit I like the sound of the les paul jr with the Sunn amps over the SG with the Marshalls. The JR just had such a snarl to it.

This was a great show. I was hoping for one song (or an encore) with Leslie playing his trademark Les Paul, Jr. The crowd would have went crazy. RIP Leslie.

Damn right Abil! Theme From An Imaginary Western! I took my 14yr old son to a club to see this tour in March '05. Miraculously the owner admitted him because it was a 21+ roadhouse in Sandwich, il. The show was perfect, he did a Cream tribute to honor their reunion. Corky Lange stuck around signing autographs and was just as personable as could be. Turned out Leslie had the Flu, sick as a dog, we didn't know that until after the show? All things considered the band kicked ass as professionals. One highlight above all that happened, during the show my son's water glass broke on the table. I didn't make a big deal about it, figured it was an accident and cleaned it up. Later on the way home he said he didn't knock it over? He said Dad the glass just fell apart! Probably Ritchie Scarlets Bass is all I can figure out? Long live ROCK, R.I.P. Leslie West
