Down to the river, with my bones all a'shiver Give the word to my mother, tell my sister and my father That on the shore lay my brother, pale and smaller than I remember Soft and foggy like the summer dew, dark wind and trees will not remember you Sand & sliver moon & red-eyed loon, and Black Tie, I's in the heat of June When all'll sing the same tune, "oh, we will not remember you"
I am seating and watching the screen ...not mowing . I am paralyzed by the deep and sensitive beauty of the idea and performance. It resonates with my creative and exploring nature and my music that I play in my dreams and on my guitar. Many blessings to you! I am sending this video to two of my daughters as a message of love and beautiful existence. Thank you !
I think the reason why people are irritated by hipsters is the same reason people are often irritated by hippies: people put on the style like a costume out of vanity, like to show how hip, cool and superior they are. Sometimes you see someone dressed like a hipster, but it's so clearly a legitimate expression of their inner self that they pull it off. Somehow these girls pull it off. probably because they are real artists and creative types not posers.
Don't know if anyone's told you yet, but they do have an album called Made the Harbor. It is a fucking BEAUTIFUL record and I highly recommend you find it if you haven't. Unfortunately that's the only LP they have out. Seems like they're either on a hiatus, or broken up because of the girls is now in a new band named Sylvan Esso. Recommend it too.
