Being there to see the mountain move in person was quite a sight. The box blades were making a lap in less than a minute as well as leaving it smooth for the next pass not leaving much time to mess with a front loader. I was surprised myself at how much dirt they were able to move quickly. Shaving off a little bit at a time it was easier to tell where they needed to load the next time around. The dirt working well was a big thing in our favor too. Randall and I really enjoyed being able to be a part of the job and drank up a good bit of sweet tea. Tim and Christy, Congratulations on 200000!!!

Great project to watch. I couldn’t help but chuckle when you were talking about how you could have estimated the amount of soil moved..”But that would have required forward thinking”. That sounds like conversations I have with myself..all too frequently😂 Thanks and blessings to all.

Angle the landscape rake and wind row the dirt and rocks, then shift through it with the rock bucket. May be a winning combination. I had the same problem trying to use the rake to remove rocks, it was removing a load of the soil also. All in all y’all did a good job and had fun doing it.

Hi Tim Just wanted to thank you for the info on Rim Guard. Pennsylvania will start inspecting Hay Rides, so one of the items is weight ratio of farm tractor to trailer. Our tractors need more weight, so because of watching your channel I new of Rim Guard. Found a dealer near us and contacted them, some things I found out was Rim Guard weighs 12 lbs per gallon, that is 4 lbs more than water or RV antifreeze. The dealer said he would also sell us Rim Guard by the gallon if we brought our own barrels to have filled, then we could fill our own tractors. We had the dealer fill 4 tires on 2 tractors with 400 gallons of Rim Guard, took about 4 hours. Knowing that it weighs 12 lbs per gallon seems like the way to get as much weight as you can in your tires. One rear tire on our tractors took 75 gallons, 900 lbs of weight. Thanks for all the info you provide and watching your channel made me the hero for having the knowledge.

Tom raised Randall as a farmer. Randall is getting into harvest mindset. You work from CAN to CAN’T. It is longer for younger folks. Now in to my early 60’s, CAN is delayed by getting joints moving. And CAN’T comes when the energy gets zapped.

Great video and excellent camera work. The hard work is being done behind the camera. The tractor is just fun

These 2 episodes were Great Tim! Nothing better than spending time with friends & family on a project! Especially one where you can really see the positive change you've accomplished! Also, Fantastic job with the audio & being sure everyone could communicate with one another! That helps greatly in safety & being sure everyone is one the same page. It also makes the job go quicker when you don't have to stop the tractors & have a job briefing about any changes or suggestions! Great Job on another Great Video Tim & Christy!! 👍😁

Good job and fun to watch the team work. Started out like chaos but soon became well organized once all got the routine sorted😁 Brother uses rock bucket alot and has tons of rocks. Much faster to sift and pile em up in different areas….then you can pick up and load quickly into a trailer or haul full buckets. They back drag dirt amazingly well also. The easy way to take care of the mound was dig one small holes and stick flags in them like a putting green. 🤔

You started talking about truckloads and it dawned on me that you could have sold all that dirt and had someone else do all the work and made a bunch of money. You wouldn't have gotten to play around but, with all the construction North of Indy these days it could have been worth a shiny penny.

Great job, Great video. How about some footage of the support team. [The FOOD and DRINK tent, the videographer]. Now for the shoulda, woulda - dewater the pond and let it dry (yeh, sure) and dredge/scrape the muck out. Maybe a little larger while your at it. I guess you could convince the finance committee to rent a big enough excavator. We know Tim loves to operate one. Another day or another year. Thanks again. Might suggest using your Canamek laser receiver system on the box blade to do a grid contour map with the laser level. Could set the height of one of the receivers on its mount at what looks to be the highest location in the field with the box blade down on the surface. Then drive around and take readings at what appear to be low locations by judging or measuring the distance from the blade to the ground when the receiver is indicating green. Maybe flag the high points with a colored flag and low points with another color?
