Thanks for posting this. I live 4 miles east of this trade day and I've not been there is years. Loved seeing it through your eyes. I love your videos and your wacky sense of humor. Especially all your word plays. Would love to meet you and your family. God bless!!
This is a good place and quite large. Regular folk can rent a space to sell their stuff so there could be anything there. About 60 miles south we have Tannehill Trade Days near the I59/I459 junction at Tannehill State Park, a Civil War munitions factory remains. It's a bit more "citified" with the cheese maker folk and certain artisans
"In these parts they never seen a camera" 😂😂 had my roaring. And oh man ice cream cups...I'm gonna steal that one. I love going to these things sometimes you find something cool. Nice EA thanks for taking us along.
I used to go to Mountain Top a lot when I was a kid growing up in rural DeKalb County in the eighties. I was just talking to my wife about it the other day. I didn't even know if it was still there. I am glad that it is. Thanks for the video.
I had to move to Ohio from Alabama, but have been living vicariously through ya'll cause it sucks here. I used to go to this flea market all the time, so thanks for flash back. I came from Cleveland Alabama, there are some great spots in Blount County.
Blount county is nice. I lived at Locust Fork a few years. The Cleveland area has the cool old covered bridges where people swim. You come on back home now, ya hear?
AWESOME BLOSSOM 🌻🌻🌻🌻 That place was HUGE! I bet y'all were tired when you were done. Not a place I would want to walk. LOL I'm an Arts & Crafts person where items are homemade or really different like the table of old cast iron stuff. I have cast iron starting from the big 5 gallon campfire pot down to a one egg skillet. Handed down from generations. That Mexican man in the white cowboy hat looks like the guy I sold my pecans to here - up there in Alabama selling them.. LOL. Great day with family.
I haven't been there in a few years grew up in rainbow city thanks for the videos they bring back the good ole days for me living there. Live right across the line in Polk county now. Try collinsville over on highway 11 it's not quite as big but a decent one.
You know your in the sticks when ya see chickens for sale at a flea market.we have alot i mean alot of our southern neighbors here in Jersey too.we have quite a bit of farm land around here.
Looks like you all were at the Top of the Mountain Flea Market. I've been there about two or three times myself. That's close to where I live. I got me a free dog there the last time I went and my ex-husband took her when he left. I did get her for him but she was supposed to be a male dog and I didn't look but I did realize it when I got to my car and she went potty. I tried to take her back to the people I got her from and they were gone that quick. My ex-husband said that he didn't want a female dog, so why did he take her. Oh well I wasn't able to keep any of my other two dogs either. I miss the dogs very much.
Hello! New sub here..mind if I ask what part of Alabama you're from? I live about 90 min from this flea market called Mountain Top, and am just curious lol...
