Thanks for another great video Shawn. I'm building a 1988 TH400, It has a Hipster transbrake valvebody with engine braking and will be behind an 800 hp LS with on nitrous with a 4000 stall PTC converter. This is mostly a street car with some strip use. Do you see any problems using the new style aluminum pistons in this case?
Love all the Th400 info you have. What is your recommendation for an output shaft @ 1000whp. Car weighs 3600lbs and will have a rear gear of 4.11 to 4.57 Not sure what to pick 4340 or 300m or if there are other options. Thanks in advance
Sure wish you weren't so far away. I'm needing a TH400 for my ProCharger build. Can you tell me what your experience with transbrakes and street use is? I'm hearing from some builders a stern no do not do it and some saying just the opposite. I only plan to race it about 2 weekends a month during race season. But I want to be able to drive it pretty regularly also.
