Like you Ellis, I don't like putting wet face cloths in the laundry basket so this is what I do!. I bought a really small lidded storage box that fits in my ensuite cupboard and I store them all in there until washing. On towel and bedding wash day I chuck them all in the machine on a hot wash and voila! Really dislike the idea of stinking mouldy cloths in my wash basket. xx

Glad I’m not the only one! I never see anyone else with face cloths left around and thought they must have some trick I haven’t thought of because none of my solutions have ever worked and I don’t like the mess and untidiness of it 😂🙈 is yours a plastic box? X

@@EllisSaraSmith yes, it a largish Tupperware box smaller than a cake box but bigger than a lunch box . Works perfect for me . You could also use the slim IKEA cereal storage tubs.xx

For your wet cloths you could have some hooks to hang them to dry before placing in the laundry basket.

A lot of my round cloths don’t have anything to hook them too although this would work for a lot of them. I could pop one down the side of the unit to keep it hidden. Thank you for your suggestion! So glad I asked now ☺️

I have the same problem with wash cloths! I let them dry and then put in the a bin. I also put down tissue or clean cloth so the bottom doesn’t go mouldy. I would be interested in other ideas. I agree with you that I don’t like putting wet cloth in the laundry basket 😢

Yes! So happy there’s so many other people that are the same. Never see anyone leaving cloths around so thought I was the only one 😂 tissue is a good idea to help with the mould. I think plastic boxes that are lidded is an option to consider right now x

I let my facecloths dry and then put them in a small mesh laundry bag. Works a treat.

Yes! I used to use a mesh laundry bag and then it went missing and I’ve not used one for years 😂🙈 do you just leave them out to dry on the countertop?
